Chapter Nine

"Hey Christian glad you could make it I was starting to get worried." I said.

"Sorry, my class ran later than I thought it would." He blushed.

"Don't worry about it," I smiled "anyway lets get going!"

"Alright i'm coming."

I led him by hand to our destination, The Zoo. Everyone loves the zoo, so I am sure he will enjoy this enough to tell me more about himself. Maybe he will start to reminisce about his childhood and tell me about that memory so I can find out more. So far he seemed to be enjoying himself but it wasn't enough yet I had to make him have a lot more fun then he already had.

"So, what's your favorite animal i'm sure they have them here." I ask.

"Well, I really like the lions." He said bashfully.

Aww how cute.

"Alright this map says that the lions are this way." I say pointing.

We headed towards the lion cage and seen all the different types of wild cats.

"Wow there are so many different cat breeds here!" I say.

"Yeah but, it doesn't seem like the lions are out right now." Christian says.

"Don't worry it's still early so i'm sure they will come out later on." I say patting Christians back.

"Well lets go see the penguins for now since its the closets to us." I say.

"Okay."

We headed to the penguins and along the way we seen the polychromatic peacocks wandering around. After making it to the penguins we explored the inside. We didn't stay there long however due to the freezing cold temperature and the smell of raw salty fish. We went to the bear exhibit, the butterfly room, we seen the insects (which made me cringe in disgust), and we went to a lot of other places that are too long to mention. It was around noon now and we decided to stop for lunch.

"So, what do you want to eat." Christian asked.

"Oh, don't worry about it i'll pay." I said.

"Well, since it's a date I should pay for you." He said.

"Yeah, that's how dates usually work but I asked you here so I should pay." I argued.

"But i'm the guy so I should pay. The guy always pay's for the girl no matter what the circumstances are." He argued back.

"But, I asked you here with the intention of paying for everything." I said.

We basically argued about who should be paying for who. Arguing wasn't apart of my plan but I hate losing even if it's something small like an argument. However in situations as important as this mission i'm on I have to get rid of my pride and lose.

"Fine, you can pay, since you want to do it so bad." I say.

"Thank you." He said flashing me an adorable smile.

Gosh I can't stay mad at him when he is like this.
