Before Xertor could do anything, a sudden gust of wind blew past; slightly brushing his short black hair. A shocked expression appeared on his face and he mumbled, "Wind?" He was shocked because he never thought that he would ever experience – wind, in a video game; even if it was in virtual reality.
"I knew there would be a sense of pain in this game since I saw it in the manual that I skimmed through earlier, but I never expected that I would have other senses as well!" he thought - shocked.
Xertor lowered his eyes to the ground and thought, "It was stupid of me to assume that there weren't any senses besides pain in this game, but it was normal for me to assume so, as recently Chinese game developers tended to disappoint more with each release of an MMORPG game." He sighed and shook his head as he remembered MMORPG titles released prior to Lost Origins Online.
He smiled and thought, "Well since this game was the product of not only of China but also other countries it might not become a disappointment filled with cash shops and P2W (pay-to-win) mechanics. I certainly hope that the economy of the game will be entirely handled by players," Xertor sighed.
Xertor squatted down and with his hand touched the grass and smiled. "This grass really feels like real grass. The sense of touch, sense of temperature and the sense of wind hitting my face and blowing past my hair, they all exist in this world," he thought.
Xertor couldn't help but smile widely. "This is so cool! No, not just cool! he shook his head and thought, "This is the wet dream of every RPG lover!" He shouted out, "It makes me feel so excited! This is amazing!"
He raised his head and looked into the sky. He saw the sun in the blue cloudless sky and his eyes squinted in response; he burst into sudden laughter, "Amazing! Amazing! Even my eyes got irritated by the direct sunlight!" he shouted out.
"Are you okay?" a sudden voice said.
Xertor closed his mouth and then realised that he had been shouting out into the air without a care, his face blushed slightly. He took a deep breath and turned his head towards the source of the voice. He saw a youth of the same age as him.
The youth had brown short hair, green eyes and was thin. He wore a linen shirt and linen pants. Looking at this youth; above his head, Xertor saw the youth's name, level, health and mana.
"Why do you ask?" Xertor asked as casually as he was able to, but even though he tried, a light blush was still visible on his handsome face.
"You were shouting out just moments ago, are you sure you are okay?" he asked with concern in his voice.
Xertor nodded, "I am alright, I just got a little too excited, that's all."
"I see," Raiku smiled, "This world is really amazing, a world to be excited about and your reaction was not that strange. I feel that if you weren't shouting then I would have been," he lightly laughed.
Xertor smiled and nodded, "Yeah."
Raiku smiled back and extended his hand, "My name is Raiku."
Xertor tilted his head. "You can see my name and I can see yours, why are you introducing yourself?" he asked confused.
Raiku didn't pull back his hand. "You are right but the world is so life-like that it just feels natural to act like you would in the real world don't you think? So don't leave me hanging alright?"
Xertor nodded, he extended his hand and clasped Raiku's hand. "My name is Xertor."
"Nice to meet you, Xertor," he paused for a moment, "Hey Xertor, let's add each other to the friend's list."
"I don't mind," Xertor shrugged his shoulders.
"Cool!" Raiku said.
"If I remember correctly, first I have to extend my hand, turn my palm so it faces up and then swipe up," Xertor recalled and did just that, he extended his hand, turned his palm so it faced up and swiped up. After he completed this action, a list of options appeared and one of these options was
Xertor tapped the button and a new window opened up. It was an empty window with search option at the top and one button at the bottom -
Xertor quickly typed in the name and tapped the button -
"To close the menu entirely, I just have to clench my fist and swipe down," he remembered as he done the action. When he closed the menu he saw Raiku standing in a single place moving his hand through the air. Xertor blinked his eyes, "I don't see his menu?" he thought, "So the menu can only be seen by the one that summoned it."
A moment passed and a notification message sounded.
Raiku clenched his fist and swiped down then he looked at Xertor, "It seems you beat me to it."
"Beat you to what?"
Raiku shook his head, "If you didn't understand it then no matter, so Xertor do you want to level together?"
Xertor shook his head, "No, as a general rule in MMORPG's I don't group with people to quest. I only form groups for dungeons, raids, battlegrounds and other activities that require me to form a group."
Raiku nodded, "I see." He sighed, "Then we will part ways here."
"Alright, Raiku."
"See you, Xertor!"
Xertor moved his eyes away from Raiku and summoned the menu by pointing his palm up and swiping up. After the menu appeared he selected
Xertor nodded his head once he looked over both the stats and the abilities of his two classes, he thought, "Both classes seem good, I wonder are all the classes like that?" He closed the

A new window opened but in this new window, he didn't see a single item. Xertor scratched his head and thought, "Well it doesn't matter, the weapon would have been only been 1-3 damage even if I had one."
Xertor clenched his fist and swiped down, the
