Xertor entered the forest and as he did, he saw several players walking around. "They must be searching for the flower as well," he thought.
He glanced at the minimap and saw that the arrow from the minimap disappeared and in its place, an area was highlighted. "It seems I have arrived in the area where the flower Jurid grows. Now I just have to search this area and I should be able to find the quest item," he thought.
Xertor walked into the border of the wide area marker and looked around but even after looking around he didn't see the quest item – the flower – Jurid in near proximity, however, he still saw players walking around. "Not here," he thought and walked deeper into the highlighted area.
After several minutes of walking around, Xertor moved away from the players and now walked by himself and by himself in the distance, he saw a single glowing flower. "I guess they are using the same sparkle for quest items as the other MMORPGs," he thought.
He walked up to the sparkling flower and extended his hand towards it and as his hand came in contact with the flower, a window appeared before him, Xertor blinked his eyes and mumbled, "A loot window?"
In the loot window, there was only a single item, and Xertor extended his hand and tapped it.
"Is that it? And who is Arisolda?" he thought.
"Whatever the case is, I have met the requirements of the quest, I should return to that quest giver." After this thought, Xertor walked out of the forest and headed back to the village. As he walked back, he saw several more wolves and several
Xertor returned back to the village and when he saw the quest giver – the quest giver now had a yellow question marker instead of the exclamation marker. Xertor walked up to this man and the moment he stopped in front of him, the man took the initiative. "Have you completed the task?"
Xertor nodded, "I did."
"Really? Where is the flower then?"
"Huh? Do I need to retrieve the item from my inventory?" he wondered. He twisted his palm and swiped up, the menu opened and from the menu, he selected,
Xertor exited the menu and saw the flower in his hand. He smirked and extended his hand with the flower to the man.
The man took the flower from Xertor's hand and a notification message sounded.
<+100 XP>
Xertor frowned and thought, "Completion rank F? What else was I supposed to do there?" He sighed, smiled and thought, "At least I levelled up and have attribute points to spend."
After his thoughts concluded, he glanced at the man and saw that he now had a yellow exclamation marker above his head. Their eyes met and the middle-aged man, initiated the conversation once more.
"Young man, thank you for getting me the flower but I still require your help."
"I can distribute the points after he gives me another quest," Xertor thought.
"What is it?"
"My wife's grave has been invaded by some boars, please go to the graveyard and eliminate the boars around my wife's grave. After you are done return back to me."
"I will do it!"
Xertor didn't go anywhere, he first opened the menu and selected the character window. It opened and he saw the slightly different window from before.
<5 Points Left To Attribute, Recommended attributes: Dexterity, Vitality>
Xertor without thinking much put 3 points into Dexterity and remaining 2 points into vitality. He looked at the character window once again and saw the changes immediately.
Xertor first closed the window and then looked at the quest tracker below the minimap.
"So the quest is that of my level, that's good." Xertor thought. He looked at the minimap – only to see two arrows pointing in two directions. "So the quest is out of range of the minimap?" Xertor immediately opened the map and looked at the location of the
As he walked towards the quest, he saw many players walking in the same direction as he. He got to the graveyard and he was greeted with a large partially opened iron gate. The left gate was opened while the right one was closed, the walls were made of stone and vines covered them.
Xertor looked at the gate in front of him and he thought, "I have arrived." He glanced at the minimap and saw that it pointed directly at the graveyard. "Here I go!" he thought and he walked through the gate.
"Instanced zone? Well, that's new, it's my first time seeing instanced zone's for solo play." He thought and looked around and his eyes landed on a boar that was twenty yards north-west of him.
He looked at the boar and information appeared above him.
Xertor took a deep breath and he mumbled, "This is going to be my first time engaging in combat and with 80% pain intensity no less." He once again took a deep breath and resoluteness flashed through his eyes. "Let's do this!" he mumbled and rushed at the boar.
