TreeShade City

After a few hours of exploring An Cheng got out of the Aether Forest and into a stretch of plains, except something, A giant tree, at least 1km long with a 300-meter wide base. And around that tree, there is a city

TreeShade City is one of the 24 cities on the Human Continent. Due to its remoteness, for hundreds of years this city has always been at peace. That is fine for most of the residents here as they are elves, the peace-loving race. The elves always had a reputation for being just being born beautiful no matter male or female. The truth is they are just like humans with pointy ears and just look a bit better. No matter where you go there will always be ugly people, inside and out.

An Cheng got to the gates where he met with the guards.

"This way sir," Said a guard. They were respectful due to the fact that the human emperor decreed that all people were to pass without a fee. And their gut instinct told them this person is extremely dangerous.

As he went into the city, he was surprised to see eastern style buildings, it really did not fit the picture. He also saw players selling items.

(1 copper x 100 = 1 silver x 100 = 1 gold)

"Common Rank sword here 7 coppers, get it here now before its too late!"

"Common Rank chest plate here 8 coppers!"

"You Sir! you want something to help restore your health? I have health potions for 2 coppers each!"

There were players everwhere selling and buying items. What he was surprised about was why didn't he get any of that, no potions, sword or chest plate, just a stick. There were other players that gone around using the most generic game pick up lines on NPCs, hoping to get a quest. After all they didn't know what to do this game was more realistic than any other game they played. Most of the people just got shooed away, some had some luck and got a quest or what seemed to be, they told you to do something and bring it back, who knows they might be trolling you.

An Cheng didn't do what they did, he did what he thought was best, find a cultivation method, he learned from his last experience that if you did not get stronger, someone will always trample on you wether you like it or not. While looking for somewhere to find a cultivation method he found a place that sells them, Cultivation Palivon was the name of the store. He went in the store to find nobody there except for an old man sleeping on the counter, he had an weird feeling about that old man. It seemed that people played too many western RPGs to forget about cultivation.

An Cheng found some Common cultivation methods such as

Fire Lotus Cultivation Method - 8 gold

Snowfall Cultivation Method - 7 gold

Thunder Strike Cultivation Method - 9 gold

All of the common cultivation methods were all near ten gold with the lowest being 7, that means its going to be a while before anyone starts cultivation even if they are one of the massive guilds. If that's Common cultivation methods, then the Earth ones cost upwards of 1000 gold. There were even some Heaven cultivation methods, at 1 million gold. Regular players only have 1 or 2 copper on hand at the moment. Thus An Cheng remembered that he killed a bear, and hoped he could trade it for one, who knows he might be lucky

"Excuse me could I trade something for a cultivation method?" An Cheng said politely

"Sure show me what you got" The old man at the counter replied lazily.

An Cheng got out the Bear fur and claws for the old man. When the old man saw the items he furrowed his brow but quickly got to normal again.

"One Heaven ranked Cultivation method for the fur final price." He replied lazily. An Cheng was astonished that the fur was worth that much. But he quickly accepted the offer, this was a heaven ranked Cultivation Method, 1 million gold.

He gave the old man the fur and went to pick out a Heaven ranked Cultivation method, there were only 8 he could find, that could explain the rarity of it there were thousands of Common and hundreds of Earth, but there were only 8 Heaven ranked ones.
