An Cheng and Lucy went back to rest as they were extremely tired. An Cheng let Lucy lay down to rest first as he went out to give the blacksmith the Sliver Rhino King's horn to make a sword. As he walked down the streets he found the streets unusually crowded and lively. Unfortunately he did not care as he wanted to get back to the cave as possible as he would find out that a player was the cause of the liveliness.
When he got in the shop he found the blacksmith hammering away like the first time he met him, it seemed like he did not stop to rest even when it was nighttime.
An Cheng walked up the blacksmith to give him the items and surprisingly he looked up first and said "So you killed it huh?"
"Yeah, why do you ask?" An Cheng asked in response. He felt something suspicious going on.
"Oh just asking, give me the horn." The blacksmith quickly changed the topic. A glint appeared in his eyes but it quickly left as soon as it appeared.
An Cheng did not notice anything as he gave him the horn and left. He also heard "It will be ready by tomorrow afternoon." as he left.
After An Cheng left the blacksmith called in his apprentice. "Go tell the mayor, that HE might be a threat." The apprentice quickly nodded and left the shop to tell the mayor.
As An Cheng was walking down the streets out of the city, he walked a bit slowly as he enjoyed the bustle of the city, it was a scene that he did not enjoy often. There were some fireworks in the sky, the whole city seemed much livelier than the day before.
He used to only enjoy these scenes in his childhood.
....
"Xiao Shui, look there are fireworks up ahead!" A boy said to his little sister as he pointed up at the sky.
"Whoow, brother they're so colorful!!" The little girl said staring excitedly at the fireworks.
The brother was smart and recognized that she wanted to see more and lifted her onto his shoulders to let her get a better view.
They watched fireworks together in silence until their mother called them back into the house.
....
As he got back to the present, the store that was ahead of him happened to be lighting some fire crackers and they were especially bright, the lights seemed were really bright and when he was looking away his eyes landed on a shop.
An Cheng suddenly got an idea...
.....
When Lucy woke up she was holding onto something, it was something rhobust and gave her a feeling of warmth. She had the best sleep she have had in years, last night, she wanted the dream that she had to last a bit longer, so her mind was not in the right spot as she was thinking about her dream. Her eyes were a bit blury so she did not know what she was holding onto, she felt reluctant to let go of it as she got up as she normally did and rubbed her eyes, when her eyes were cleared and she realized what she was holding onto she let out a shreak.
"Ahhhhh!"
Lucy finally realized what she was holding onto. It was An Cheng's arm. When An Cheng woke up due to the shreak, he looked up at Lucy who was quickly hide her blush with a question mark above his head. An Cheng who also had the best sleep he have had in years and also had a very good dream. He felt a bit empty as he felt something leave his body.
"Why did you scream?"
"There was a bug on me." Lucy quickly made up a lie. An Cheng also did not push further as he just woke up and it was probably an embarrassing topic as he saw bits of a blush. Her face was especialy cute right now, An Cheng had to use a lot of his willpower just to not pinch her cheeks.
"What are we doing today?" Lucy asked as she was calming down and changing the topic.
"Lets just cultivate for a couple of days, we need the rest and time." An Cheng said. He just made her go out to hunt with him after a probably tramtic time for Lucy, he knew that Lucy was trying hard to be fine on the outside but she was struggleing inside. The last 2 days were really fast too, he got a little sister, and she just got a big brother. They needed time to catch up.
"Oh, ok let me wash up." Lucy said as she went out to the nearby stream.
She walked down the dirt path slowly, she was recalling what happened the last few days. Her parents died, she used up a lot of her life-force to flee, and she just got a big brother. As Lucy was thinking she had already reached the stream.
She took a deep breath and took a handful of water to wash her face. While she was in the middle of doing that she noticed someting in her hair. Lucy dropped her head down near to the water to see what it was. When she saw it she just stood there where she was without moving....
.....
An Cheng left the cave as Lucy was out freshing up. He walked into the city to go get his sword. An Cheng noticed as he went into the city that this morning was much less livelier than yesterday, the city seemed to be in a hangover period. As he wanted to go back as soon as posible he did not ask what had happened, it had nothing to do with him anyways.
An Cheng reached the blacksmith shop and he went in, he did not find the blacksimth, instead his apprentise insead. When the apprentice saw that An Cheng walked in, he did not even greet him and just pointed at a sword. An Cheng felt that he was a bit arrogant to not greet a customer but he did not say anything about it, it was up to his teacher to teach him.
He went over to a long, slender sword that had little sparks around it and lifted it up as he felt the sword. An Checked the stats of the sword.
