After the relaxing weekend we had, the days and weeks ahead became busy. With the big project at its first stages, the N City Grand Mall, work was hectic.


Andrea and I were half way thru the day and work when I felt pain in my abdomen. I cringed with the sharp pain and sat down for a moment.


"Jill? What's wrong?" Andrea was right by my side in no time.


"Oh it's nothing. The twins might have kicked a little hard." I said to alleviate Andrea's worries.


"Are you sure?" Andrea asked worriedly. "Do you want something, water maybe?"


"Okay. Just sit there and rest okay. I'll get some water." Andrea said. She walked out of the office hurriedly.


I was having deep breaths trying to gauge the pain I was feeling.


"Am I having contractions already?" I asked myself. "But my due date is still weeks away."


I looked at my desk calendar. My due date is encircled there, October 15.
