Rings & Invitation
While Manager Zhang and Mei zhen were clearing the crowd and paparazzi at Royal W Hotel entrance..
At the staff lounge...
"How did she even still have the audacity to come to work?!" - Employee 1
"Geeesh, she's so thick-skinned. Who does she think she is? Kissing our CEO?!" - Employee 2
"I bet it's easy to get in her pants..hehehe" - Employee 3
Ziwei was humiliated by every employee at the staff lounge. She was holding back her tears. Will she be able to even continue working at Royal W Hotel?
"Don't worry, it'll soon be over, everyone will eventually forget about it." Someone tapped Ziwei's shoulder as a form of comfort. "Th..thanks.." Ziwei thanked Shan Shan, a senior housekeeper.
Suddenly the lounge got quiet. The sound of a woman's heels clacking could be heard at the corridor.
It was Mei zhen.
Mei zhen's eyes was on Ziwei. She was fuming at her top after the news surfaced. Mei zhen walked up to Ziwei.
"Good mor..." even before Ziwei could greet Mei zhen as her superior.
*PPAK!!*
Mei zhen threw a tight slap with all her strength across Ziwei's cheeks. Everyone in the lounge gasped at the scene. Ziwei's cheeks turned almost bloody red within a few seconds after the slap.
"Zhao Ziwei, let's see how much guts you have to be kissing Wang Yan! Don't you know we're getting engaged?! You dirty little sl*t!" Mei zhen once again raised her hand for another slap.
Just then, Shan Shan intercepted between them and stopped Mei zhen's slap.
"Ms Gao, you shouldn't abuse employees like that." Shan shan held Mei zhen's left wrist to refrain her from slapping. However, this didn't stop Mei zhen.
*PPAK!!*
Mei zhen raised her right hand and threw another slap across Shan Shan's face.
"How dare you talk to me like that? Lin Shan Shan." Mei zhen shifted her gaze at Shan shan's name badge pinned onto her uniform. Nobody dares to breathe another word to Mei zhen until Manager Zhang and Renxi arrived at the staff lounge.
Renxi saw a slap mark was imprinted on Ziwei's reddened cheek and Shan shan's. He knew he had to do something.
"Ms Mei zhen, you're needed at the meeting for the upcoming press conference." Renxi stood in front of Shan shan and Ziwei.
Mei zhen left the staff lounge, still angered.

3pm, Bvlgari Jewellery
The high-end luxury jewellery store was closed specially for Wang Yan's arrival. As he entered, all staffs greeted him with respect. Wang Yan's bodyguards were heavily guarding the store entrance, ready to deny anyone who tries to enter the store.
"Mr Wang, it's an honour to have your visit at our store today, this way please." Bvlgari Retail Manager led Wang Yan to their VIP gallery for viewing.
"These are our latest fine collection by designed by our top italian artisan, a 10-carat emerald cut premium stone diamond ring. It's only perfect for someone's status like you, Mr Wang." The manager placed the diamond ring in front of Wang Yan.
"Nothing seems suitable for her..." Wang Yan picked up the ring and examined it.
"Mr Wang, are you looking for something more specific?" The manager asked politely.
"Something simple, but elegant perhaps." Wang Yan responded and the Manager immediately retreated and brought out another collection.
"Mr Wang, this is another vintage collection that we have. It is one and only designed across the world. It's simple micro paved diamonds and a touch of platinum cut diamond in the center, symbolizes it's innocence with uniqueness." The manager explained.
"This is it." Looks like Wang Yan had his eyes set on this one.

"Renxi, how is the press conference preparation going?" Wang Yan asked while Renxi was at the wheels en-routing their journey back to Royal W Hotel.
"Everything is ready, Sir. I've sent Manager Zhang the location to have your belongings delivered over tonight...Also..earlier..." Renxi hesitated.
"Speak." Wang Yan continued.
"Earlier when i arrived at the staff lounge, there was a hand-slap mark on Ms Ziwei's cheek. It looks like Ms Mei zhen have looked for her in the lounge about the news." Renxi informed.
Wang Yan kept his cool, without saying a word but only to reach out to his phone.
To Luo wei: Make sure everything is in order.
To Wang Yan: Nothing could go wrong under my control. -Luo wei.

Later that day, most of Wang Group's business partners and affiliates have already received their invitation to Wang Yan's abrupt announcement on his engagement. This includes the Gao Family, Ziwei, Fang Jie, Daniel, Kris and Luo Wei.
"We warmly invite you to our engagement announcement on 29 September 2018 at Royal W Hotel, Grand Ballroom. We hope to share this joy with you, see you there"
"Mei zhen, look! It's your engagement invitation!" Mei zhen's mother was all excited showing Mei zhen the invite.
"Mother, this is weird..i wasn't aware Wang Yan is going to announce our engagement so quickly." Mei zhen looked worried.
"You're so silly! Can you see what he's planning to do? He's making it up to you for his mistakes! He wants the world to know you're soon to be his fiancee! In order end those rumours, he's using this engagement to prove himself!" Mother Gao exclaimed.
Mei zhen's mood was lifted up after hearing her mother. It made sense to her.

Mei zhen was over the moon! I'm finally going to be Mrs Wang! Mei zhen squealed in excitement as she looked forward to the day of announcement.
"Mother, let's go do some shopping! We need a gown, a hair fix and our nails done for the big day!" Mei zhen grabbed her mother out for a shopping spree.
