Press Conference
Royal W Hotel, Penthouse
The day of press conference and engagement arrived. Wang Yan was all dressed up in his black tuxedo suit, looking as charming as ever. Looks like a wedding day.
Everyone was gathered at the main hall, including Ziwei as their housekeeper, who felt bittersweet about Wang Yan's sudden engagement news.

Wang Yan: After today, regardless if i am still here, our plans still goes on.
Fang Jie: What are you talking about? Are you leaving somewhere?
Daniel: Are you slacking off your job to us?
Wang Yan: At the press later, the board of directors may be displeased with my actions.
Kris Ler: Are you saying you might get dismissed from Wang Group?
Daniel: This is absurd! You BUILT Wang Group! They can't remove you like that.
Fang Jie: Not until Yan acquired 100% of the shares. The directors still have their say.
Wang Yan: It won't be long till i return.

"Sir, the press and medias have arrived." Renxi interrupted.

3pm Royal W Hotel, Conference Ballroom
This is it. The press conference that everyone been waiting for. All medias around China flew in to Shanghai to attend this conference. Everyone were buzzing around with their cameras ready, recorders ready and microphones on hands.
Moments later, the doors opened. Wang Yan has arrived with his bodyguards forming barriers to avoid the medias from getting too close to Wang Yan. The sound of camera shutters were clicking non-stop until Wang Yan make his speech.
"Good afternoon, medias, friends and employees of Royal W. I am Wang Yan, CEO of Wang Group and Royal W Hotel. I am certain everyone is here today to clarify the headline news that surfaced few days ago. First off, as you may have heard or received my invitation, i am announcing my engagement right after this press conference, i would like to seek everyone's cooperation to not delay my engagement." Wang Yan greeted everyone at the ballroom.
"Back to the headline photo, it was no mistake that i have kissed the lady the other night, which i would like to apologize to her personally for my rash act."
"Mr Wang, what about your rumored girlfriend Ms Gao Mei zhen?" -Reporter 1
"Haven't you know? Maybe you will find out in a few moment later." -Wang Yan
"CEO Wang, why did you kissed the woman in the photo then? Is she someone special to you?" -Reporter 2
"Yes, she was until I have mistaken her as my ex girlfriend who was already deceased 6 years ago." -Wang Yan
"Thank you everyone, if you still have further questions for me, i would invite all medias here to my engagement announcement that will commence shortly, please follow the staffs that will usher you." Wang Yan bowed as he left the conference hall.
20 minutes later, it was almost time for the engagement announcement.
"Ziwei aren't you attending President Wang's engagement?" Luo wei asked.
"I'm not sure if i'm supposed to be there." Ziwei looked down, confused of her own feelings.
"Just get dressed, Yan is still your boss after all. I'll see you there in awhile." Luo wei puts on his blazer and left to the Grand Ballroom.

5pm, Royal W Hotel, Grand Ballroom
The ballroom was decorated luxuriously with sparkling chandeliers. The setting was warm, grand and intimate, that resembled like any other weddings.
Everyone was already gathered in the ballroom, the Wang Group directors, business partners, investors and families. Everyone was formally well-dressed with a glass of champagne on hands.
There was even a reserved area for the press and medias that was assigned facing the stage.
"Our mei zhen is soon to be Mrs Wang! I'm so proud of you! After our years of hard work finally paid off!" Mother Gao hugged Mei zhen as Mei zhen puts on her champagne gold gown.
"I will not forget you, mother. After i am engaged with Yan, we are going to be the biggest empire that will rule the entire Shanghai." Mei zhen grinned as if she won the battle.
While Wang Yan was attending to the guests, Ziwei entered the ballroom with together Kris Ler, Fang Jie and Daniel but Luo wei was nowhere to be seen.
"Ladies and gentlemen, please be seated, the announcement will begin momentarily." Manager Zhang addressed everyone from the stage and the hall gradually came to a silent.
Mei zhen was standing beside Wang Yan, full of joy tugging her hands onto Wang Yan's arms. The sight of it made every woman present was full of envy.
"May i invite the couple to ascend to the stage to share their speech." Manager Zhang addressed as everyone applauded and cheer.
The microphone was handed to Mei zhen first.
"Today is a new beginning of my life with Wang Yan. I'm really glad to be able to share the joy with everyone present today. I will do my best as Wang Yan's fiancée and love him wholeheartedly. Thank you everyone for joining us today, i would gladly invite everyone here for our wedding coming next!"
Mei zhen couldn't take the smile off her face as she look into Wang Yan's direction.
At the same time, Fang Jie walked up to the couple with the Bvlgari engagement rings placed on the ring bearer pillow.
Now, it's Wang Yan's turn to make his speech.
He took one last glance at Ziwei who was watching from down the stage, as he began his engagement speech.
