3pm, The Aescott
Wang Yan managed to lose the car which was following them and arrived back safely at Aescott. Ruo Qin looked calm, not a single bit shaken by what just happened.
"You looked unexceptionally calm." Wang Yan was surprised.
"I have to learn about your life since i'm your girlfriend now, right?" a smile from her that warmed his heart instantly.
Moments later, Renxi arrived back at Aescott to find Wang Yan and Ruo Qin in the living hall.
"Sir, the unidentified car was reported a stolen car to the authorities 3 months ago. The playback extracted from my recording, the car looked dirty and not maintained. There were mud splattered and on the wheels." Renxi gave a brief report of the car.
"Sounds like a professional who've done this before...have you managed to track where the car is headed?" Wang Yan asked.
"Negative, Sir. the car was headed towards the highway tunnel. Under the tunnel, our tracking weaken due to connectivity." Renxi responded.
"Get Luo wei here, also i want James and Zoey at Ruo Qin's side"
"Of course, Sir." Renxi retreated and took the lift down.
"Um...Yan, whose James and Zoey? Why do you need them by my side?" Ruo Qin looked towards his direction.
"James was from the elite special ops team in the U.S, moved to Shanghai with his wife, and we offered him a job here. And Zoey is one of the top 3 certified professional bodyguard. A female guard would make things easier for you. Well, you're gonna need them because there are times i can't be by your side, and your safety is my priority." he explained the background of Ruo Qin's new bodyguards.
"Aren't you afraid they might not be trusted? After all they are still getting paid. They could turn their backs on you anytime!" Ruo Qin wasn't sure to trust bodyguards who are salaried workers.
"Qin.. They've followed me for nearly 7 years now. and i'm paying them what they deserved. Since they know my capabilities very well, they wouldn't breach the contract." Wang Yan pats on her shoulder to reassure her.

6pm, The Aescott, Study room
Fang Jie, Luo wei and Renxi are present in the study room with Wang Yan. "We've gotten Mei zhen to sign and sealed the transfership of her stocks on hand today." Wang Yan placed the documents on the table.
"I'm impressed...you sure have your ways." Fang Jie looked at him with a satisfying smile.
"That means...we currently hold the biggest share of Gao Holdings at 60%. It seems Chairman Gao may not be very pleased to know about this.." Fang Jie sneered.
"Sir, what about Royal W?" Renxi asked, awaiting for Wang Yan's instructions.
"Eventually..." with that, everyone knows Wang Yan always have a plan.
"Jie, i need you to get the attorney to verify the transfership before we make a trip down to the Gao Holdings." as requested by Wang Yan.
When it comes to new businesses, there's no reason for Fang Jie to say no. Acquiring the Gao Holdings is a milestone for him.
"Wei...regarding the securities. I'm counting on you." Wang Yan brought up the incident that happened earlier.
"I'll have motion surveillance cameras set up. Do you have anyone in mind that might be trailing you and Ruo Qin?" Luo wei asked, hoping to get clues.
"Possibly Mei zhen, but i won't rule out the possibilities of others. Ever since announcing my relationship with Qin publicly, threats bound to happen." Wang Yan in all seriousness when it comes to Ruo Qin.
"Alright..i'll work with James and Zoey on this." and Luo wei left Aescott.

2 Days Later...
It's the day of the shareholders meeting at Gao Holdings conference room.
Which was also the day Fang Jie and Wang Yan step foot into Gao Holdings. The staffs and securities recognized them the moment they entered the building, however, there wasn't a single soul dared to stop or intercept them.
The lift stopped at the meetings level, standing in front of the receptionist.
"Mr Wang...Mr Fang..Did you made an appointment witih Chairman Gao today?" the receptionist was stuttering, shocked upon their sudden visit.
"Yes, the shareholders meeting." Fang Jie answered that left the receptionist puzzled. She knew she couldn't afford to offend these 2 VIPs and immediately ushered them to the conference room where Chairman Gao was.
*Doors opened*
"You dimwit! Can't you see we're having a shareholders meeting?!" Chairman Gao yelled at the receptionist, which obviously sound like he wasn't in a good mood.
"It's okay, let us handle this." Wang Yan gently patted on her shoulders, and she quickly retreated.
*Crowd gasped*
"What is Wang Yan doing here?" -Director 1
"I heard he got dismissed as Wang Group CEO. Why is he here?" -Director 2
"That's Mr Fang Jie? Is he one of the investor here?" -Director 3
Everyone was taken aback by the sudden appearance of the two.
"What are you two doing here?! This is a confidential shareholders meeting!" Chairman Gao yelled as his brows furrowed.
"It seems Chairman Gao is still not aware that i've acquired 45% of Gao Holdings shares. I think i have every right to attend this meeting now?" Wang Yan and Fang Jie settled down at the table across Chairman Gao.
"Of course, as you wish. Manager Xie, please carry on with your presentation" Chairman Gao scoffed.
"So...as i was saying, does everyone here agree that we shall move forward with our plan of the upcoming project that is to increase our investment funds to build Freya Building?" Manager Xie turned to everyone to seek approval.
"I object." Wang Yan raised his hand, strongly disagreeing to the project.
"Wang Yan! don't cross the line!" Chairman Gao yelled.
"Don't forget what you hold is only 45%! The final decision is still within my call!" Chairman Gao continued.
Just then..
Wang Yan turned to Fang Jie who pulled out another document and handed to Wang Yan's hands.
"Chairman Gao, i'm afraid you only hold 40% as of now." Wang Yan's hand was holding the documents of the transfership that Gao mei zhen signed.
"I've acquired another 15% from your daughter, Gao Mei Zhen."
as he lifted the documents up, that was visible to each and everyone present at the meeting.
The room burst into chatter and uncertainties.
"Wh...what? There is no way Mei zhen will transfer her stakes to you!" Chairman Gao slammed his fist on the table.
"Please, go ahead and vet through the transfership with your attorney. I'm more than willing to clarify your uncertainties, if any." Wang Yan slides the document across the table to Chairman Gao as he flipped through the documents, refused to believe the fact that Wang Yan have taken control of his company.
Chairman Gao was utterly speechless.
"Allow me to explain, the documents on Chairman Gao's hands are the verification by authorities of transfership that Ms Gao mei zhen have transferred her 15% of Gao Holdings shares to me"
"In which to say, i hold the biggest control of Gao Holdings as of today. I sincerely hope and look forward to work with everyone here, including Chairman Gao." Wang Yan bowed to everyone, in his confident posture.
