An Explosion
It's a day after Wang Yan have acquired the control of Gao Holdings. The news spread like wildfire.
"Ex CEO of Wang group, taken control of Gao Holdings"
"Gao Holdings surrendered to ex CEO Wang Yan"
Everyone in the business industry was caught in the uproar of the sudden change of management. Ever since Wang Yan took over, more investors have decided not to pull out from Gao Holdings, trusting Wang Yan's capabilities to bring Gao Holdings to light again.
The Gao Holdings stocks are slowly recovering from the bottom, day by day.

10am, Royal W Hotel, Directors Meeting
Director 1: Director Wang, how did this happened?! Now that Wang Yan is controlling Gao Holdings, isn't this a losing game for us?!
Investor: Have Gao Holdings decided to join our investment project? Or is Gao Holdings going against us?
Director Wang: ...Everyone, please remain calm. I am sure we have a suitable candidate as our next CEO.
She is Wang Ling, my daughter who've been managing Royal W in Japan. It's time for her to come back.
Director 2: Director Wang...don't you think we should have Wang Yan back? Afterall, his network in this industry is much better than Ms Wang Ling?
The meeting was full of debate between who shall be the next CEO of Wang Group.

Ruo Qin have prepared a heartwarming dinner while waiting for Wang Yan to be home. He've been working till late and hardly had a proper meal since he took over the Gao Holdings.
*DING* the doors slide opened
"Yan!" Ruo Qin squealed in delight lounging herself into his warm embrace. The scent of his cologne is her favorite scent. She missed him.
Wang Yan held her and kisses her forehead.
"I smell food. Been cooking?" Wang Yan asked as his gaze turned soft. She's the only person that Wang Yan will let his guard down.
"Hungry? I've made braised pork stew, sautéed scallops with broccoli and steamed cod fish" Ruo Qin was proud to announce tonight's menu. She felt like a housewife, cooking and waiting for her husband to be home.
"Very." Wang Yan responded and had a fulfilling dinner with Ruo Qin at the living hall.
However...
There was someone across Aescott building was monitoring them with a binoculars in the dark. He could get a clear view of the couple through their ceiling-to-floor windows. Nobody knows how long he've been watching Wang Yan and Ruo Qin.

Few days later...
10am, The Aescott
Renxi hastily report back to the Aescott. Something happened at the Wang Group.
"Sir! I'm sorry for coming unannounced. There have been an explosion at Royal W! It looked like arson" Renxi rushes towards Wang Yan's study room where Wang Yan was.
"Arson?" Wang Yan's brows furrowed but remained calm. Who dares set fire at his hotel!?
"Any casualties? Get Manager Zhang on a video call with me" Wang Yan responded with Renxi flipping out his tablet and connected a video call with Manager Zhang.
Although Wang Yan is no longer the CEO, but Royal W was what he built from scratch, he will not let anyone to mess with his hotel.
Manager Zhang: Sir..No guests were injured, but 6 staffs are caught in 1st degree burn. It happened in our security server room, fortunately our pressure system have suppressed the fire from spreading.
Wang Yan: What about the surveillance?
Manager Zhang: It seems the culprit was well aware of where our surveillance cameras were installed. Zero signs. As it exploded in our server room, some of the data are destroyed.
Wang Yan: First, ensure the injured staffs are being taken care of, do the necessary compensation and make sure the guests stay safe. Double up the security. I will get Luo wei to check on it.
Manager Zhang: Yes sir. Right away.

"An arson?!" Ruo Qin overhearing their conversation. She knew Wang Yan couldn't let Royal W off his mind during this time. The hotel needs him.
"Yan...do what you have to. Your empire needs you. I'll be fine at home. Besides i have Zoey and James as my bodyguards remember?" Ruo Qin touches his hands, hinting him.
"I'll be right back after i settled this." Wang Yan kissed her gently.
"Renxi, get the car ready in 15mins."
Wang Yan's CEO mode is turned back on once again.

Royal W Hotel, Conference Room
The management are already gathered in the conference room regarding the explosion happened earlier.
Director 1: How could this happened and we haven't found the culprit!
Director 2: Who knew what will be the consequences if the guests are injured?! This is a very serious matter!
Director Wang: I have asked the security team to look into this matter, we will have answers very soon.
Director 2: Director Wang, the hotel needs Wang Yan back! Furthermore he is the only person who knows the hotel inside out, he should handle this matter!
Director Wang: As i have said, Wang Ling will be back to Shanghai next month. She is a suitable candidate to take on this position.
Director 1: Next month?! We don't have time till next month! The Ciel Corporation have been asking to meet our CEO! How can we embarrass ourselves with no CEO now!?

Just at this moment,
Wang Yan stepped foot into the conference room. Everyone sees a light of hope upon his appearance. Wang Yan bowed towards everyone.
"CEO Wang, we've been waiting for you!" one of the directors claimed.
"It's good to have you back Wang Yan!" the directors let out a sigh of relief.
"I am not back to claim the CEO position. I was pretty sure everyone present in the room seemed to agree that my actions were childish back then and decided to remove as the CEO..." Wang Yan looked into the direction of his father.
"Regarding the arson, i will take full responsibility and get to the bottom of this with Manager Zhang and the security team. Once the matter is resolved, i will go back to Gao Holdings." Wang Yan's words were harsh like they carried thorns. Everyone looked remorseful, including Director Wang for their decision to remove him as the CEO.
After speaking to them, Wang Yan bowed and exited the room, that left the management speechless.
"Wang Yan is indeed responsible for his own business..."
"Where can we find another capable leader like him? We shouldn't have removed him..."
the directors were chattering among them.
Director Wang knew he was wrong to make such hasty decision.
Wang Yan took out his cellphone and made a call to Luo wei.
"Wei, are you at the hotel now? Meet me at the penthouse in 5mins."
Royal W needs Wang Yan back.
