Living in Darkness
Wang Yan stood back up on his feet, straightening his mind. What Wang Ling said made total sense. How is this possible?
They have waited for each other years, after years just to get back together.
Wang Yan knew something is amiss, but he had no idea what Ruo Qin could possibly be hiding.
He made a call to Renxi.
"Renxi, i want all updates of Ruo Qin and the man Yu Tian. monitor them. and send me his background details"
Who is this man, Yu Tian?
Wang Yan, however left Kyoto back to Shanghai to attend an important business meeting, while Renxi update every movement of Ruo Qin to him on a daily basis.

Few days later..
Ruo Qin was on her way back to Ryokan Guesthouse before she return to Shanghai for her exhibition...when suddenly her vision faded away..
This time... it happened right when she was crossing the road!
*HONK* *HONK*
An incoming car was accelerated towards Ruo Qin's direction and honked profusely! At this time Ruo Qin was unable to see anything, raising her hand attempting to grab onto someone but there wasn't anyone on the road!
Just right across the road, Yu Tian was stepping out of Ryokan Guesthouse when he saw Ruo Qin was on the road helplessly reaching out her hands, left him confused.
It was when he found out...Ruo Qin is suffering from blindness. Nonetheless, he didn't have time to dwell on it when he spotted an incoming
*HONKKKKK* *HONKKKK*
In a split second, Yu Tian dashed towards her at full speed, grabbing Ruo Qin's arm and retrieved her backwards forcefully into his chest.
Ruo Qin's face was as pale as a white sheet. Traumatised.
"Ruo Qin? are you ok?! " Yu Tian lead her to a safe pavement, looking at her in her eyes.
He was convinced that Ruo Qin couldn't see him at all as she couldn't maintain an eye contact with him.
"T...thanks.." Ruo Qin's voice was quivering, body shivering when she realized this time....
She couldn't regain her vision..At all.
"Ruo Qin? What's wrong? are you hurt somewhere?" Yu Tian asked, noticing her expression darkened.
"Yu Tian....I.....i couldn't see..i couldn't see anymore!!!" Ruo Qin wailed in tears, it felt like she just lost her whole world.
His heart starts to ache for her..It all make sense to him, why she was in Kyoto and her relationship with Wang Yan. He didn't want to ask anything but led her safely back to the guest house.
However...
Renxi only arrived at the guesthouse witnessing Yu Tian holding onto Ruo Qin's shoulder, noticing their physical interaction but not Ruo Qin's condition.
He knew he had to do his job...which was to report back with a picture of them to Wang Yan.

Shanghai, Royal W Hotel
Wang Yan was in his office when he received an update from Renxi.
It was that photo.
Wang Yan's brows furrowed in confusion. Still unable to tell Ruo Qin's relationship with Yu Tian.

Renxi: Sir, from my findings, the man Yu Tian arrived Kyoto on the same day as Ms Ruo Qin. It seems they both coincidentally booked the same accomodation as well. However Sir...we've found out that Yu Tian holds majority of the ownership at Pixen Gallery.
Wang Yan: How is that possible? I've never heard of him.
Renxi: He've been keeping a low profile status in the industry, leading a very simple life in a small apartment in Shanghai. He also travel often to collect art pieces from underground artists.

Wang Yan was in deep thoughts upon hearing from Renxi.
Which means to say...during Ruo Qin's launch exhibition, Yu Tian will be attending. Wang Yan thought to himself..he will get to the bottom of what is happening between Ruo Qin and Yu Tian.
Wang Yan sent a text message to Kris.
"Ler, get me invitation to Ruo Qin's exhibition launch next week" - Wang Yan
"Ayyyy i've got an extra but Daniel insist on going with me" - Ler
"Screw him" - Wang Yan
"Roger that i'll pass the message to him" - Ler

Kyoto, Ryokan Guesthouse
Couple days have passed...Ruo Qin is still not getting back her vision. Living in the dark as days pass by.
On the other hand, Yu Tian helped to move the furnitures that would obstruct her way. which made it easier for Ruo Qin to navigate around her room.
Every night, Ruo Qin would cry herself to sleep. Losing her sight, losing the love of her life couldnt be anymore painful than that.
Wang Yan was the only person that was on her mind, but helpless.
Why would god play with her life like this? Why did god let her meet Wang Yan again and separated them.
All kind of thoughts would run through her mind every night.
''Yan..." Ruo qin mumbled his name, tears streaming down from the corner of her eyes as she curled her legs up to herself.

...
Yu Tian caught a glimpse of her weeping before knocking on her door.
'she really loved Wang Yan...' he thought to himself, he guessed that Ruo Qin must have left Wang Yan without him knowing about the condition of her eye sight.
"Ruo Qin, have a glass of camomile tea, it'll aid your sleep." Yu Tian carefully handed the cup of tea to her hands.
She took a small sip before she tried to set it down on the ground.
"Yu Tian...can you do me a favor...?" she asked in a soft, fragile voice.
"Go ahead.." Yu Tian responded.
"My...my exhibition is happening next week and..i can't let anyone know that i'm blind.." Ruo Qin hold back her tears.
"Would you..be able to accompany me back to Shanghai for the exhibition...? I know it's a little too much...but i really need your help..." she pleaded sincerely.
"Ruo Qin..getting medical attention should be your priority.." Yu Tian refuted.
"It's no use...it's no use...i'm going to need to remove the tumor and a cornea transplant..." Ruo Qin answered listlessly.
"I really want to fulfill my dream, this is the only thing i can ask for now..." she pleaded and eventually Yu Tian agreed and assured he will help her to fulfill this.
That night after Ruo Qin was asleep, Yu Tian was on his laptop checking e-mails until he spotted an incoming e-mail.
