Did they catch him?

"Isn't it about time for you to make your decision? It's been weeks. Don't tell me you're going to make them wait for months?" Wen Xi questioned Rui Xing.

"I mean... I know it's really unfair to them. But, I still don't know," Rui Xing sighed.

"I think you should go home and think about it. Whoever you end up being with, I'll be happy for you," Wen Xi told her with a grin on her face.

"OK. You take care okay? I'll leave first."

"Yep, go ahead. I'll be fine..."

Rui Xing exited the hospital and drove home.

"Alright mom, I'll head over to the police station to answer some questions first okay?" Yi Tian asked to which his mother nodded her head. He took his leave, taking a taxi instead as Wen Xi's car was almost out of gas. He couldn't help Wen Xi refill the gas as Yi Tian wasn't supposed to be driving. He hadn't got his driver's license yet. He booked a taxi and a few minutes later, a yellow colored taxi drove towards him. He saw the plate number and got into the taxi once it pulled over.

The taxi drove off after he got into the car. He sat down, thinking about Wen Xi. What if the doctor says she can't be discharged? What if she needs to undergo another surgery? What if she... The doctor said that the surgery was successful so I shouldn't be thinking of all these stuff. When he finally managed to get these thoughts out of his mind, they reached the police station. Yi Tian paid the fare and got out of the taxi.

He went into the police station and told one of the policemen seated on the chairs that he was there to answer some questions about the kidnap incident that happened a few days ago. The policeman nodded his head and told him to wait there while he looked for another policeman to question him. Yi Tian stood there patiently when another policeman came out with the policeman he had asked earlier on. "This is Policeman 4, he'll be questioning you on the kidnap case," the policeman informed Yi Tian to which he replied with a 'yes'.

Yi Tian followed policeman 4 to a private room to answer the questions.

"Yi Tian, we've already questioned the 2 guys that kidnapped your mother. They were told to do this task and it was apparently told by your father. So I'm going to ask some questions about your father. Policeman 1 had questioned the culprits of your father's whereabouts, however, he was neither at the house, nor the hotel he usually goes to. They went yesterday morning and at night to look for him. We also collected both their phones to look through the messages between them and your father. He hasn't been texting them recently. The most recent message was to kidnap your mother. If you think you might have any information that might be useful to us, please let us know," Policeman 4 explained to Yi Tian what happened.

"I'm not sure if I'd be of help. My father and I aren't on good terms but sure, I can answer your questions," Yi Tian replied genuinely.

"That's okay. Just tell us what you know... does your father have other relatives besides you and your mother?"

"His parents passed away a few years ago. He does have an older sister. She lives at Whampoa. I'm not sure what the exact location is."

"Whampoa. Alright, does your father have any close friends?"

"That I'm not quite certain of."

"We've checked both the criminal's saved phone numbers and saw that in their contact lists, your father and a person named Yi Yang. Is that your auntie's name?"

"Yes. You can try giving her a call, and asking for her exact location but try not to make it too obvious. In case, my father is actually staying with her for the time being," Yi Tian suggested.

"Thanks for the suggestion. We will do what we can to find him and put him in jail. I think that's all for now, if we need to ask you anything else, we'll let you know."

Yi Tian nodded his head and left the police station. He decided to go to the hospital to visit Wen Xi. The hospital was pretty near the police station so he walked there instead of taking another taxi. He reached the hospital after a 10 minute walk. He went inside and walked straight towards Wen Xi's room. Yi Tian knocked on the door and saw Wen Xi wearing her own clothes. "You can go home?"

Wen Xi turned her head and saw Yi Tian walking towards her. "Yes! The doctor said I can be discharged today! I finally get to go back home. I miss my bed!" Wen Xi enthusiastically said to Yi Tian. He smiled hearing that she could be discharged. "That's good news! I'm happy that you're discharged. And also I've been questioned by the police about the kidnap case today," Yi Tian said. "Oh! The kidnap case is still going on?" Wen Xi asked confused.

"No, no. Well I hope not. A person had told the 2 to carry out the kidnap. And that person is none other than my father. I knew that he isn't a good person but what I didn't know is that he would actually kidnap his own wife," Yi Tian explained calmly.

"Oh... I don't know what to say or how I can make you feel better."

"You don't have to say anything to make me feel happy or better because seeing you already makes me happy."

"Awww, I love you. Anyways how? Did they manage to catch your father?"

"Not yet. They are still on the look out for him. He probably knows that the police is after him and he is now in the hiding."

"I hope they find him. It'll cause less trouble for your family, knowing that he's in jail," Wen Xi said to which he nodded in agreement.
