A decision
Wen Xi forced a smile on her face then continued to say, "Don't the two of you have work? You don't have to stay here with me."
"It's lunch break but it is almost about to end. Thanks for the reminder, is it okay if I leave first?" Li Nang said.
"Yeah, go ahead idiot," Shang Ying blurted out.
"What did you call me?"
"No..nothing. I said you can go off first."
He said goodbye to the rest except for Shang Ying then left.
"Shang Ying, do you need to rush back to work now?" Rui Xing asked.
"Nope. Today's my day off," he spoke with a grin on his face.
"OK. Do you mind waiting outside first? I want to talk to Wen Xi privately."
He nodded his head and sat down outside, waiting for them to finish talking.
"What's with them? Do you know anything?" Rui Xing started the conversation.
"I honestly don't know but it seems like they aren't on good terms. Maybe because of YOU! They both want you don't they?"
"Okay when you say it like that it make sense but the last part though, they both want me?"
"Oh gosh. Catch up! They both want you as their girlfriend!"
"Oh..."
"Yeah so what are you going to do? Are you going to break both their hearts or just one guy's heart? You have to make a decision," Wen Xi said.
"This is going to be a really hard decision."

Meanwhile at the police station
(Interrogation)
"Jacob, why did you kidnap Yang Ling? Were you ordered to do so?" The police started questioning J.
"I would be preferred to be called J and I'm not going to tell you anything."
"Don't make this hard for us or the duration of your imprisonment will be much longer. You might even face a death penalty," the police warned him.
"So be it.... Wait, a death penalty?"
"That's right, you heard it correctly. So are you still unwilling to tell us why you kidnapped the innocent victim? Or do I have to make M do it instead?"
"Okay fine. Both M and I were ordered to kidnap Yang Ling."
"Who? What's the name of person who ordered you?"
"His name is Yi Ming, Yang Ling's husband."
"And why did he tell you to kidnap her?"
"He wanted us to kidnap Yang Ling so that Yi Tian, her son will tell us who the girl Shang Ying was with on a holiday is," J explained.
"And how is that useful to the three of y'all?"
"Well, we can expose the information and earn money."
"Where is Yi Ming staying at? Where can we find him?"
"He lives at Moonlight Avenue. If he isn't at home, he should be at Night hotel. His work doesn't require him to go to the company often. He can stay at home and do his work.
"Alright, if that is all, we will now interrogate M."

Yi Tian returned back to Wen Xi's place. He saw his mother sitting down on the sofa, staring into blank space. He walked towards her and sat down on her right. "Mom? Are you okay?" "Yeah, I'm fine. I'm just thinking about your father." "Don't worry, mom. He will be put in jail." "Son, do you think he will get a death penalty?" "Well, to be honest, yes. For the verbal abuse and what he did to you, doesn't he deserve it? For cheating on others with another, people do forgive people for doing it but in my opinion, the trust isn't there anymore. And for verbal abuse, even if he is the only one working in our family, earning money, that doesn't give him the right to be this rude and abusive."
"I agree with you. But doesn't everyone deserve a second chance?" "Oh anyone but him. He's already been given many chances to stop his abusive behavior but since when he did stop? It's just gotten worse! A leopard never changes its spots is a good phrase to describe him. I'm never going to ever forgive him for what he did." "Son, if he goes to jail, he won't be a burden to us in anyway anymore. So should I divorce him after he's been released from jail?" "That's if he's even going to come out alive."

"Policeman 2? This is policeman 1. I just finished questioning Jacob. Please head to room 1 now, Jacob is inside. Keep an eye on him okay?" Policeman 1 spoke into his handheld transceiver. [1]
"Roger, policeman 2 heading over now," policeman 2 replied through his handheld transceiver, getting up from his chair near his work desk.
After hearing policeman 2's answer, he walked over to the room M was in. M looked at policeman 2 with nervousness shown in his eyes. M knew the consequences of kidnap and thus he was scared he was going to get the death penalty. I'm only 21, there are still lots I have yet to see and learn. I don't want to die yet, not now, he thought to himself. Policeman 2 closed the door shut and sat down on the seat opposite of M. M watched as he sat down in front of him in fear.
"Now Mike, I just questioned your dear friend, Jacob or should I say J? I'm here to now interrogate you. Say the truth, and nothing but the truth, or you'll face a higher penalty. The look on your face tells me that you know what the higher penalty is, so I don't have to explain to you, that's good. So shall we begin?"
"Whether or not you like it, I'm going to start the interrogation now. Alright, your friend J, told me that your boss had told the two of you to kidnap Yang Ling. Tell me the name of your boss."
"His na...name is Yi...Ming," M stuttered.
"OK and why did he instruct the two of you to kidnap her?"
"He told us..to...kidnap her be..because Yi Tian, her son, kno..knows Shang Ying's girlfriend's name. And of course, Yi Tian will come looking for his...his mother. When we get the information out of him, we can post it online and get money."
"Yeah but how can you get money?"
"Yi Ming works for a news company. When we get juicy news, he..gets paid more. And, he will give us 1/3 of his salary," Mike explained.
"I see, where does he stay and where does he usually hang out at?"
"He lives at Moonlight Avenue...and I'm not sure where he hangs out at. The only place I meet Boss is at his house. Boss trusts J more so J should know his hangout places..."
"Ok, is that all?" Policeman 1 asked to which he nodded his head.
"Policeman 3, I'm done with the interrogation. Did J do anything to escape?"
"Yes, Policeman 1, but he is still inside the room."
"OK."
"Policeman 2? Please come to room 3, I'm done with interrogation."
"Roger that."
