The floor and table were covered in dust, his new poster of Zhang Liang Ying that had just been posted on the wall a few days ago had already become yellow and tattered all over. Even Zhang Liang Ying’s beautiful face became monstrous as if an old devil was looking at him with a terrifying smile.

Wei Xiao Bei smeared a layer of mud onto his body. He was a little disgusted by it, but he knew that the mud would enable him to evade detection from infrared sensors for a while. Furthermore, it would prevent him from being bitten by poisonous bugs and help in keeping him hidden.

Forests were much more lively in the night than in the day, particularly so when they were older forests.

The scuttling sounds and cries of various insects formed a natural symphony in the forest. The greedy field mice hunted for nocturnal bugs and fruits that had fallen to the ground, while owls, snakes and other predators waited for the mice to appear.

Wei Xiao Bei activated his [Response Search] while advancing through the forest, constantly combing through everything in the forest.

This was a truly eye-opening experience. He saw a reticulated python successfully capture a lost fawn, tightening its body to kill the fawn in a matter of seconds.
