5 Years Ago in The Lost Realm (3)

"I came as fast as I could. What seems to be the emergency Gerneral Tross?" The green skinned fairy was very beautiful with delicate wings, purple round eyes that were much bigger than humans and curly blonde hair. Her short stature reached the General's chest and Clain's chin.

Clain had seen young maiden fairies before but never one as beautiful as this elder. She was shown to the room but the maid that had helped Clain grow accustomed to the Tross household, she went by the name of Ms. Folly. A slightly heavy woman with a very warm hearted smile that complimented her genuine blue eyes and wore her gray hair in a bun all day long.

Ms. Folly excused herself and left the room closing the door behind her. "This little girl. She's the emergency, she looks like a human but she isn't human." Clain and the General were sitting on a bench at the foot of the bed when the fairy elder came in. The general walked to the far side of the bed towering over the little girl. His expression was hopeful to hear some good news from the fairy but as soon as the fairy analyzed the girls body her own body froze in a state of shock.

"Cindy Lou." The General said the fairies name out loud hoping to snap her out of her shock but the fairy remained still looking at the little girls sleeping body. The General called out the fairy a few more times before he felt impatient and walked around to shake the poor fairy back to consciousness.

Right when he was about to touch her, the fairy inhaled desperately and looked around the room to see both men look at her confusingly. "Did you see that? Did you see that little girl open her pure white eyes and tell me that?"

Both men looked at the little girls sleeping body but saw no change in her sleeping state. "We didn't see anything." Clain wasn't sure what was going on. This was the first time he saw a fairy go into healing mode but he was pretty sure he saw the fairy freeze in place and heard the General call out to her a few times when she was unresponsive.

"What did you see Cindy?" The General was curious. Cindy saw something that they couldn't see, he wanted to know everything he could find about this little girl before he sent a full report to Master Fei.

The fairy looked down to the little girl with an open smile. "This little girl." She reached down and grabbed a hold of her right hand turning it over to reveal a brand burned onto her skin. The mark looked like a squinting dragons eyes, a sacred symbol of the ancient forefathers. "This little girl is the ancestor of the magical clan that once ruled these lands."

"But how is that possible? No one has seen them in over three thousand years. How can she just appear out of no where?" The General was more confused than ever. He had his soldiers marching up and down the streets searching the city for anyone that could claim this child but no one has come forward so far. The city had been in chaos and everyone was rebuilding it but other than some who have died do to the effects of the battle. No one seemed to be missing a little girl.

"Is there anyone in this city that knows her?" Cindy looked up at General Tross in hopes that he had more information to give her so that she would give a more accurate prognosis but the General simply shook his head and said no.

"This boy here had his life saved by her right before she destroyed half of the dead army and fainted." Cindy smiled once again and walked over to Clain. She took his hands into hers and closed her eyes.

"That's it!" Cindy shouted and walked over to the girl to put her palm over her forehead. "She is in a deep sleep. It will be a couple of years before she awakes."

"But why?" The General didn't understand. This girl was in a coma like state but she wasn't in a coma, just sleeping. Why would it be another few years before this little girl awakens.

"She's informed me that her soul is resting and that it will take a couple of years to fully emerge into this body. She is a very special being, I would take her with me but it's best for her to remain with the boy. They share a blood bond. When she saved your life she also tied her soul to yours which gave her the opportunity to stay in this body." Cindy was hoping that these two understood the responsibility that she was placing onto them. Stories of the retreat of the dead army were circling the nation in the two days after the girl appearance, maybe she was the key to something great. "I'll give your maid a few liquid recipes to feed this child as she sleeps. She's also informed me that she goes by the name Kavira. Such a beautiful name for such a beautiful girl." Cindy sighed and looked up at the gentlemen. "She'll need to stay warm and be healthy, can you do this task?"

Without hesitation the two men agreed and just as time came and went, five years of nurturing and dedication went by until finally the girls emerald eyes flew up.
