Lord Yoru (2)

"You need to give up on trying to find this girl, Nyla. She is among a group that you won't be able to penetrate and you will lose a lot of men if you try to." Lord Yoru was listening to the warning but he felt no need to be afraid. Throughout the years many powerful people have come forward to try and harm the hunters but one after another they fell to his power. "Nyla is following a woman that is on another level. I don't believe your cane will be enough to defeat her."

Prince Jacob caught Lord Yoru's attention with that statement. "What do you mean?"

"This woman has the mark of a dragon's eye on her forearm, the other humans in the group also wield magic." Prince Jacob was a long time friend of Lord Yoru's, not only have they had the chance of doing business together but have shared pleasurable nights together.

"How is that possible? Magical beings haven't been seen of heard of for the past three thousand years." Lord Yoru was finally witnessing the severity of this situation. "Dalton never came back. The faun that I had raised from a little boy, did you see him?."

"So that was him? He wasn't like the rest of the group, he had a necklace around his neck that felt odd but they didn't treat him any differently. I guess he did cozy up to them." Prince Jacob looked at the big burly man, he had never found him attractive but he did find pleasure in many different forms. His savagery is what enticed him. "The talking crystal spoke to them. Well more specifically the girl with the mark but all of them went along with her. I suggest you remove your men and find a different way, going against them will do you more harm than good."

Lord Yoru laughed in a hoarse tone. "I will not lose to those children. Your warning brings me joy, I will finally have worthy opponents to kill if they can get past my men."

Prince Jacob wasn't surprised by his response but this naive thinking wasn't working for him so he left the man to his own ego. Prince Jacob made his way back into the Keero and decided to visit the only brothel at the far back of the city. A beautiful slender woman with dark brown hair and pitch black eyes appeared. "Prince Jacob, I wasn't expecting you tonight."

The woman walked into a room with transparent red curtains, a decent size bed along with toys and whips on the night stand. Prince Jacob followed her, he wasn't in the mood to play any games and went straight for the woman, he threw her onto the bed and took off his pants. "I need you to do some work for me."

The woman giggled, untying her robes appearing naked in front of the prince. "Isn't that why you're here?"

Prince Jacob smirked and turned her naked body over giving her rear end a better view for him. "I mean aside from this you silly girl." He bent over, kissing the girls spine all the way down to her tailbone. "I need you to seduce a man and have him bring you something for me."

The woman lightly moaned to the prince's fingers feeling the opening between her legs. "How much will you pay?"

"One hundred shells." The girl was excited for a second before Prince Jacob inserted his friend into the woman, enjoying the pleasures before joining the group in the castle for dinner.

"The man that the crystal ball spoke about is Lord Yoru, Nyla also knows about the golden cane but she has never seen it's power." Nyla had a suspicion of this but she didn't realize that the cane held any magic, it was always just golden when her presented it to her. "At first he just wanted to catch you all but now I think he wants us all dead."

"If it's a fight he wants, it's a fight he'll get. I do believe I've sensed forces gathering outside of the city but it felt faint since I hadn't paid it much attention. We can take them on easy." Linx was overconfident on their abilities to take the hunters on and live to tell about it but Kavira had a different strategy in mind.

"Defeating Lord Yoru's men won't prove to be difficult, I could take most of them on myself. But that magical cane will be the problem, I don't believe that any of you other than Kavira would have a chance to face him. The Lord himself doesn't have any magic but he must have something in his possession that gives him the ability to use this weapon." Dalton didn't mean to be harsh about the others falling to Lord Yoru's cane but he had to tell them the truth. He had watched that cane destroy town after town and take countless lives.

"I don't wish to kill anyone, do you think it would be possible to take the cane without this situation becoming so violent?" Kavira was a warrior and a magic wielder but she knew the consequences for taking lives. She didn't want to have to bare that burden even if sometimes it would be inevitable.

"I can try to sneak into the camp but even then Lord Yoru never leaves the cane unless he's sleeping, then he leaves it on a stand next to his bed." Dalton really had no idea why they would try to plan a suicide attempt. He just escaped death for failing but going back into the lion's den wasn't an ideal situation for him.

"I can come with you. I may not be a fairy but I am still stealthy." Brenda was hoping to give herself the opportunity to prove her worth among the group and this was the time. "We will come and go without anyone knowing we were there."
