The Accord

Lord Yoru had waited for the tiny flame to bring the man to him, he wasn't expecting it to come empty handed. "What happened?" The flame had never had a mind of its own, what he said was what it did. He heard the tiny flame squeak for a few moments.

"So you couldn't enter the man's body because of his connection and you told them to come speak to me." Lord Yoru sat in silence. The spec of flame entered the cane and there was nothing left for him to think. He placed the cane on his night stand. "I am no longer the man you're going to follow."

Lord Yoru asked his guards to come in and hand him a piece of parchment. He quickly wrote a few words and left the parchment on the night stand along with the cane, he walked out of his tent to find himself face to face with Prince Jacob. His guards had disappeared.

"I was just about to make my way to you." Lord Yoru smiled but deep inside he was burning with fury. "Turns out my cane no longer follows my orders, this woman has interfered with whatever power I had over it."

Prince Jacob was pleasantly surprised to hear Lord Yoru curse Kavira. "Join me and we can take the Dragon Elder compass together. You've heard the legend haven't you? The Dragon elder can grant you magical powers. You can command your cane again if we go there together."

Lord Yoru shook his head, so this was the kids intention this whole time. All he wanted was some magical power? Lord Yoru was disappointed. "You will never see the Dragon Elder. I'm leaving this place. Good Luck."

"Just because you've given up hope and abandon your fight doesn't mean I won't win. You know how devious I can be." Prince Jacob stepped closer to where the burly man was standing, he hooked his fingers onto his beard and began to play with the tips of it.

"You also lack proper knowledge." Lord Yoru walked away leaving Prince Jacob to stand on his own. He would steal the cane but it would never answer to him so Lord Yoru paused in his tracks. "Don't even think about it. I may not have the cane on me now but I can still kill you easily."

Prince Jacob walked on out of camp disappeared from Lord Yoru's view. He turned his body to head into a huge tent that housed about thirty hunters. "Bort, instruct the hunters that we will be heading into the outer rim north, I'll start my journey on ahead. Those that wish to continue following may do so, those that wish to leave can do so as well. When the girl comes, tell her to search my tent. I left something in there for her."

"Sir?" Bort had never heard Lord Yoru speak so calmly about an enemy. Something must have happened to have him conclude to such a decision and even go somewhere without his cane. "Just do as I say."

Lord Yoru disappeared, Bort turned to look at the faces grouped up among the tent. All the men felt disgusted, they followed this man for his honor and savagery and now he was putting up a white flag without even fighting. Many men, faun's and centaur's rose to leave, they will not stay with someone who was this despicable.

"We are being expected by Lord Yoru." Kavira and the group appeared in front of a mob of humans and creatures alike leaving the area. The mob were giving Kavira and the others a jaded expression, these were the people that brought them dishonor. A man walked forward and declared loudly, "These are the people breaking our family apart. They're just kids, we must take revenge in the name of our Lord and our honor."

The crowd shouted in unison. Kavira lifted her eyebrow, she supposed Lord Yoru didn't tell them about her and the group coming. "I have no interest in fighting you all. If you will move aside that would be fine."

A centaur pushed through to the front line. "You're just a pretty face. I'll make you kneel and have you curse while I torture your pretty little body."

Linx was ready to charge at the centaur when Kavira stopped him. She stepped forward and picked out one dao broadsword from her hardness, her other hand was in front of her commanding her lokath powers to pull roots and vines from the ground to wrap the centaurs body. Everyone around him stepped back in horror. "I told you that I wasn't interested in fighting, but you disrespected me in front of my face."

Kavira shifted her body into a cloud of mist and lunged forward and only reappeared to slice the centaurs head off. "Is there anyone else that wishes to die today?" The crowd was dumbfounded, they had witnessed magic and the death of a comrade.

The man who had asked the crowd to take revenge for their Lord finally broke the silence. "What are you?"

"I'm your worst nightmare." Kavira smiled maliciously as did the rest of her group. "Now where is Lord Yoru?"
