Beyond the Door (3)

Leena left Coastal woods and the ocean weeks ago, she had spent so much time walking that when she reached Al-Peak Mountains she was happy to find flying companions. She spent two days trying to make up her mind on which mount she wanted, every single one of them wanted her as a companion but she didn't want to take so many from their homes when she only needs one.

Before Leena left the mermaid's had informed her that she would be able to answer many questions she had if she made her way into the Blessed Forrest and entered the Fairy Domain. The Fairy Domain had an ancient library that could answer why she had a mark of a dragon's eye and give her further information about this Lost Realm.

After choosing a golden cockatrice, which she named Lucky, as a riding companion Leena set herself to fly north hoping to reach a city where she could find a decent meal. Lucky could feel her emotions and set her down in a near city, Dark City. "Wow! This looks beautiful! Thank you Lucky!" Leena walked forward trying to enter with Lucky but she was stopped by the guards and asked to leave Lucky at the stables, riding animals weren't allowed in Dark City.

Leena had a bunch of shells felt from what Queen Irene had given her, she didn't want to part from Lucky but she promised him to be back the following morning to really begin their adventure. Lucky didn't seem to mind so Leena walked into the city comfortably following the amazing aroma. There were many people in the market and lines were incredibly long for all the food stands, just her luck. Leena decided to look around the market instead of waiting in line, she bought a few tunics, robes, and a pair of sandals.

She felt she was done shopping until she spotted an two items on a stand where a man was sleeping in his leather chair with his hat covered his face. She found two medium length scythe made of a think black metal covered in a white aura, she could feel its energy surge through her body as soon as she touched them. She really didn't want to wake the poor guy up but she really wanted to purchase these two scythe. "Excuse me."

The man didn't answer and remained in a sleep like state. She cleared her throat and said excuse me once again but there was still no response. "Just leave whatever you want and take what you want." The man didn't bother to remove his hat, to him anything on the table was worthless but this made Leena extremely happy. She placed three shells on the table and took the scythe with her.

Apart from all these clothes she was wondering if she needed to buy some armor, never in her life had she trained but she finally felt like she could use gear to fight. In the word where she is from everyone is so modern and only the soldiers carried weapons and were completely armored. This place had a medieval feel to it maybe it would be best for her own protection.

She went off and bought a light golden breastplate that covered her chest with chain mail underneath that revealed her stomach. A leather strap was part of the chest plate that was diagonal from the front to the back, it played as a harness where she may carry one of her scythe. Her golden skirt matched the breastplate, was too short for her taste but she still wore it along with the thigh high boots to match the set. She wrapped a leather belt around her waste to place another scythe and went on to look into the armor shops full body mirror in the changing room.

It looked amazing, she looked amazing. She was so much older than she last remembered and she was completely happy with the changes, her boobs grew, she was taller, more beautiful, more feminine looking. Time had passed but she still couldn't accommodate with the idea that she had gotten older even when she had been turned to stone.

Leena changed back into the silver tunic that Queen Irene had given her and asked the merchant how much the armor set would be. After leaving the shop Leena was approached by a man with bleach blonde hair and gray eyes. "Excuse me. Where did you get that pendant?"

Leena narrowed her eyes at the man, she was sure she had never seen him before so why was he asking question about the pendant? The pendant didn't react, even though he wasn't dangerous Leena still had to remain cautious in this world. "It was given to me as a gift." Leena smiled and tried to walk away but the man grabbed a hold of her elbow, not letting her move any further.

"That pendant, did a woman with green eyes and light auburn hair give it to you?" The man was persistent but he couldn't be more wrong. Leena grabbed the pendant and looked down at the moon stone. "It was given to me by a man who proposed when I was thirteen."

The man was a bit shocked but he let her go and presented himself. "I am Damon, would you like to join me for dinner? I might have some information that might interest you."
