Series of Unfortunate Events

Once the group crossed through the Door of Viaje they found themselves in a place they didn't recognize but Logan wasn't with them. Everyone else was accounted for except for him. Kavira turned to Dracon with a questionable expression. "Did he run away?" They looked around but this place was full of trees, finding him would be tough. Especially since they hadn't spent enough time with him to lock down his aura.

"It's hard to say. Something doesn't feel right about this place." Dracon looked around, the air, the trees, that ground, nothing felt familiar. "I don't think we are in the Lost Realm."

Kavira glanced around. "What do you mean? We have to be..." She turned her head to face Clain hoping she would give her some consolation after Dracon's disturbing words but he stayed silent. Linx heard their words from the other side, he searched for the stones but there weren't any.

"What do we do now?" Brenda of course was worried that they may of may not be in the Lost Realm. "Where should we go?" This place didn't appear familiar to any of them and without a sense of direction it seemed redundant to move from where they were.

"It's still day time here. We can make a group of scouts to check and see whats going on in this world, good?" Everyone nodded. "Dalton, Brenda and Linx you come with me. The rest of you make camp."

"Wait... us make camp?" Kavira and Clain were thrown off by Dracon's group. They were warriors, why would they stay behind?

"We need as many capable people here as we do out there. This also gives me the opportunity to observe Dalton and Brenda's powers if anything does happen out there." Kavira didn't want them to feel like they weren't good enough to be out and about but they didn't know anything about what the situation was here.

"Okay. Be careful." The group that stayed behind weren't pleased but they built the camp and searched for food in their area.

"Are you sure this is a good idea? Scouting, I mean." If there was anything Brenda lacked was confidence which is why she was so fascinated by magic folk even when she had a pretty good set of abilities that were her own.

"Don't worry, I don't suspect that we are in much danger being here. We just need to know what we are up against." They were beginning the reach the edge of the forest, there was a huge castle that came into view.

"Are we going to go inside?" Brenda let her curious question out, for once she was at the front of everything and not sitting behind. Dalton was also really happy about this.

Dracon narrowed his eyes trying to find something to indicate an emblem from the castle but there wasn't anything. "Yeah, we just have to be really careful. We don't know if they have creatures or humans in this world."

They lowered their back and walked out of the bushes slowly until they reached the wall. Dracon whispered, "Linx can you make a portal from here to inside the kingdom?"

"I can try." Linx focused really hard trying to command his power to do what he was asked but no matter how hard he tried the portal only led to the other dimension. "Looks like we will be going through the front gates."

Linx failed, as much as he wanted to force his powers to work with him he was untrained, unpracticed he needed real training in order for him to really use the power he possesses.

Dracon decided to test the waters of this place and called a couple of guards over that looked like they were fauns. Creatures, that was good news, Dalton's a faun. "Excuse me soldiers, we are a bit lost. We were told to stay in a town by this kingdom. Are there any nearby towns?"

The soldiers didn't appear malicious to any of them, this world clearly had humans and creatures so after he explained to them that there were two towns north and then one heading west towards the ocean. "Is this kingdom open for tourism?"

"Of course, King Jax always welcome's visitors from over area's."

"King Jax?" Dracon face held a pair of mortified eyes. "Did you say King Jax?"

"Yes... The Guerrero family rule this kingdom." The Soldier was feeling a little weirded out by this person's reaction to his words.

"Oh that's great." Dracon cleared his throat and slapped a smile back on his face. "I've heard so many great things about this Kingdom, Cienda. Beautiful." Dalton noticed that behind his smile Dracon was beginning to sweat.

"We should go to those towns now. We will visit the kingdom another time." Dalton and the others bid their farewell before walking in the opposite direction of those soldiers. "You okay man?"

"No... I'm not okay. We are not okay."

"What do you mean?" Linx wasn't following, they were fine. The guards didn't suspect them and this seemed like a pretty safe place.

"This place... It is the Lost Realm. The Lost Real of three thousand years ago..."
