Series of Unfortunate Events (6)

Logan felt like this body and soul were wrestling among themselves. When he woke up there wasn't anyone around, did the rest of the group leave him while he was asleep? They didn't seem like those kind of people to him. He tried to stand up after being on the floor for a few hours and even though he felt strong enough now his body was still painful to manage.

Logan finally looked around, there wasn't anything but trees to the right and to the left of him. He didn't know this place but from little snippets he gathered from reading their minds, most of them were from Black City. The main question was, how should he travel there. He was a Mertas without his Binsho now, he could already feel the physical depletion to his body.

Logan gathered enough strength to walk a few miles but after five miles he couldn't continue. It was almost like this forest was never ending.

He sat up against a sturdy tree and dozed off just as quickly as he sat.

By the time he woke up it was night fall, it was nearly impossible to see anything and his insides were practically eating themselves. Logan was just about ready to regret coming to this world when he heard a females voice coming in his direction. "He was just over here Elder. I wasn't sure what to do about him but he didn't look well."

Logan had half a mind to hide but he really couldn't muster up the energy to do so. He kept his eyes open, it was better for him to interact with them then for them to leave him here.

"That's him. Oh, he's awake." A pink creature with translucent wings and purses let hair appeared alone with another creature of green skin, wing, and blonde hair. The fairy that spoke moved closer to him and asked him how he was feeling.

"I don't feel well. Please.. Help me." Logan voice sounded extremely hoarse. He feel pitiful, maybe these ladies would help him out even if it was just bringing him food.

"Cindy.. We have to help him." Cindy looked at the pitiful man, he was quite handsome but she still couldn't wrap her head around the fact as to why Lola wanted to help him. She was ready to object but then an image of her sister came to mind. Maybe.. Just maybe this is a sign of redemption.

"Very well. We shall bring him in." The two woman lifted Logan, he wasn't in any physical pain, just exhaustion. Regardless they tried not too move him too much as they made their way into the Fairy Domain.

Logan was bombarded by the beautiful colors and neon lights, it was just as the fairy tales were described back in Botus. He began to think he might be dreaming but that wouldn't make sense. This pain, wouldn't make sense. He was ultimately grateful to both of these creatures for bringing him into their home.

"We'll take you to my place. I'll give you something to eat there." The fairy named Cindy spoke up and they made their way there. Once in Cindy's house the two took him upstairs and laid him in a room with two beds. Cindy said she would be back when dinner was ready and to rest until then.

If Logan had any strength he would leave this place but he had to hone in his frustration and be patient just a little while longer.

"She's definitely lying about something." Petina was back in her room after speaking to Rhea. She watched as Lucky played with Hip and Jacko. "There's more to Leena's origins then Rhea is leading on. I have to find out what it is Chen."

The blue dragon was sure that she was right but he was afraid of her intentions. Leena, as warrior-like she may seem, she had a good heart. "Well she did wake up from your deep sleep."

"This is true... This is true."
