Now that all of the students were all fired up about Mind Cultivation, they started walking where teacher Jun Yao was taking them. They wanted to see just how powerful Mind Cultivation was. They had started to think of weird theories about what the Mind Cultivators could do. At this point, some were even wondering if Mind Cultivation was so mysterious because it had some kind of evil secret related to it that could not be told to everyone, and they would be told about the curse in the demonstration room.
As the students kept on coming up with theories, teacher Jun Yao stopped outside a room, which was very different compared to the other two. It had all sorts of weird-looking stuff in it. There was a chess-like game which had figures that were certainly not those that were used in chess. They had all sorts of weird puzzles. They also had this weird crossword, in which, they had to fill all these words, and all this had to do something with Cultivation, which didn't seem so to the students. They were just even more puzzled than they previously were, after visiting the room.
Teacher Jun Yao, who was now standing on top of a raised platform, said to the students, "I'll be telling you some important details about Mind Cultivation right now. First, let me get something straight, Mind Cultivation is a type of Cultivation that needs your 'Mind' to be focused on what I'm saying. Good pun, right!"
Teacher Jun Yao swept a gaze across the room, and when he saw the faces of all the students, who looked totally pale, as if their souls had been forcefully pulled out of their bodies, he understood that it was not the time for puns.
The Vice-Principal, however, didn't have the same expression, but that was nothing good, either. He was glaring at Jun Yao, who suddenly remembered that the Vice-Principal hated bad jokes or puns, which was on the contrary with his personality, according to which, he shouldn't even like a good joke or pun.
Teacher Jun Yao continued, trying to forget, rather, not bring up, his previous misfortune, "Students, Mind Cultivation is, no doubt, a very mysterious type of Cultivation, but there is a reason to it. That is, Mind Cultivation is not suitable for battling with the enemies on the front line, that's why, Mind Cultivation tends to be left unnoticed by most of the people. I myself am a Mind Cultivator, and that is why I'll be doing this explaining part to you myself. Practicing Mind Cultivation won't give you any physical traits that make you look cooler. You won't have huge muscles popping up, nor will you be able to soar in the air, making a grand appearance. Most, rather, all of the Cultivators keep their aura hidden, so normal people wouldn't even know if some random guy who is unknown to them, who according to them is a random stranger, but is actually someone who is a super-high rank Mind Cultivator. This is why Mind Cultivators can blend in the crowd, and be left unnoticed by the masses. The Mind Cultivators mainly act as tacticians, strategist, and the people who act mainly as supporters in the real battles. This can be proved, as, a novice Soul or Body Cultivator would have way more battle experience than an experienced Mind Cultivator. Mind Cultivators only have enhanced hearing, listening, feeling, sight, and, sensing abilities. Basically said, they are the dogs that people would use if they wanted to snuff something or someone out. That is not a way of praising Mind Cultivators, but the example I gave works in its own way. The stuff kept over here is some of what we, the great and unnoticed, Mind Cultivators, use as various practice and demonstration items. Another of my underlings, err... sorry, my subordinates, called Bao Tan, is going to come here and demonstrate these, umm... devices, I guess, to you. By the time he's here, I'll just keep on explaining you all the basic things about Mind Cultivation. There have been a lot of famous Mind Cultivators in the past, but not a lot has been discovered about them, yet. Currently, people are more into the other perks that one can get from choosing Soul or Body Cultivation. I've seen that most of the kids choose Body Cultivation because they will get all bulked up. As for Soul Cultivation, the kids think that it is cool to fly around in the air, or walk on the water, and do all that kind of stuff. Previously, there was a rather equal distribution in the amount of students in all the three types of Cultivation. But, recently, there has been a major decline in the number of students that have been opting for Mind Cultivation. People are more into getting attention and becoming famous, rather than maintaining the everlasting equality between the three types of Cultivations. Other than that, Mind Cultivators have been stopped being giving importance, and are treated like failures. The only problem is that, Mind Cultivation doesn't seem to interest people that much, nowadays. It's rather weird in the minds of today's students, and not only students, any kind of people. Lastly, I'm going to give free stuff to the students who opt for Mind Cultivation, just for the sake of restoring its past glory."
After the last sentence, Vice-Principal Huan shot teacher Jun Yao a dirty look, which made him regret his decision, and made him say, "Umm... I'll take back my last sentence. By the way, look, here's Bao Tan!"
This statement made a lot of students get excited. They all wanted to see how teacher Bao Tan would be like. They all had great expectations for him. After that exhilarating speech by teacher Jun Yao, some demonstration would help them, however peculiar it may happen to be, though.
Tao Xue said to himself, "Let's see how he'll turn out to be like!"
