Dangerous Dark Water

"Don't worry about the weeds since the others have decided to clean it for you when you or Mi are injured for us. says Grandma Sumei with a smile before standing up.
"Then I need to thank them." says dad with a nod as I said "I will also help in clearing the weeds from the farm."
"Be sure to not harm the crops." reminded me, mom, as Grandma Sumei left for her home while I went to clean my hand and face before eating breakfast.

It's already a week I have returned from the city and cleaning the farmland ever since after digging the "Well" the work in the farmland is truly tiring but it's part of life so I can't do anything about it anyway.

Since it didn't rain this month they need to get some clean water from far in the river or get it from our village, of course getting water from us is much safer.
Anyway, after much discussion among themselves, they proposed to merge with us and build a great village where we will all be safe and can even protect ourselves from the Beast Horde attacks and since it's our village of course we will still get the leadership of the village but they only asked us to let them vote in any major decision with the village.
With all these good aspects grandfathers agreed with them and we expect them to move to our village after the next harvest till then they will build their houses from the outer area of the village first and from tomorrow they will start building the walls surrounding the area they were permitted to use.
Now if you are worried about why we aren't worried about them betraying us then know this we simply trust each other and it's not from just a day or two buy years of trust, if not why would any village accept another villages remaining members after the Beast Horde's attacks.
In our village and all others, we believe if we betray our comrades it will be shaming our ancestors and we will rather die than betray our own.

In the evening while returning from the farmland I heard someone running in towards my grandfather's house with a worried face while shouting
"Bad news. Bad news!" says a stranger whom I have never seen in the village before today.
"What happened why are you screaming so much?" asks Grandfather with a serious face as he walks out of his house.
"Chief Lung our Su village is doomed." says the man with disparate before he sat on the cold floor.
"What happened to the Su village, is it under a Beast Horde attack?" Grandfather asks in worry before he walks beside the man.
"No, we have discovered Blackwater at the outskirts of our village while digging a Well." the man says as I can see everyone's complex turning bad just like the man from the Su village.
"Ling Sha, what did he says and what does he want to do?" asks grandfather after a push.
"Chief Sha has sent me to ask you if you are still taking in any village and if you can allow our village to join you?" says the man with worry.
"Don't worry even if we didn't start the process of creating a great village after knowing your village has Blackwater how can we ever turn our back and not allow you to join us." says grandfather with a serious face.
While everyone is talking about the black water and from their reaction I knew it's very bad but I am also curious how can something be so dangerous that it can make everyone this worried, so I decided to move closer to my mother before asking "Mom what is the black water that the uncle from Su village said to be dangerous."
