Oil brings a smile to my face

As usual, my parents have done almost 100 times more work than I have done by the afternoon when we return home, well that is not unexpected since they have Profound energy to back up in their bodies while I have yet to start walking in the Path of Profound energy yet and not that they have broken to the Nascent Profound Realm last week after their full recovery and with them, our village now has 5 Nascent Profound Realm cultivators abd soon when the village extends into a great village there will be more.

"Kai comes today I will teach you how to use Silver Needless. " says Grandma Sumei pulling towards her home as soon I returned from the farm.

"But Grandma Sumei I am tired and dirty why not after I clean myself and taking a short rest? " I asked her with a tired tone, I need to sleep.

"You can just wash and change your clothes in my house besides you don't have Profound Evergy so you are only going to memorize what I say and don't need to move.

So it will be the same as resting while I teach you. " says Grandma Sumei with a smile without allowing me an opportunity to argue with her.

It was almost evening when Grandma Sumei let me leave her house, I became exhausted in not only my body but also mentally.

While dragging my exhausted body towards my home sounds of heavy footsteps came to my ear from the direction of the main entrance of the village as I quickly made my way towards that direction disregarding the fatigue I was feeling since in the village there is an iron rule to not ignore this kind of sounds if you want to stay alive when there are an uncountable number of profound beasts waiting to attack you.

So ignoring the heavy footsteps that can indicate a beast horde there was little to no chance for me to ignore it since I still love my dear little life, however, upon arriving at the village gates I didn't find any Profound Beast Horde but many people walking and pulling big carts, profound Beasts pulling wagons and so on but the thing attracted my attention is the leading man in the group who is on a Blood Fang Wolf.

Yes, it's Chief Sha from the Su Village and it looks like the Su village has finally decided to merge with us and from the huge number of people I was quite surprised since their population is almost twice then ours and I don't care about that since the more the population tbe better chance of survival for us in this wilderness.

Not long after I arrived at the village entrance many other villagers soon gathered at the gates to welcome them.

After a pleasantly with Chief Sha he leads his people to the southern part of the village where they were given an area to build new houses and before they left the messenger of Su village who promised to bring a bucket of dark water came to me with a bucket before saying "As I have promised to bring a bucket full of dark water here you can keep the bucket as well but don't play with it else the consequence will be disastrous for us. "Then why are you taking that with you, can you explain son? " this time it was dad who asks with a serious face.

"Is there a problem with me taking it home? " I couldn't help but ask in confusion when they both stop me.

"Kai stops what do you are doing right now," says Grandfather with a serious face before snatching the wooden rode from my hand before I can even approach the fire.

"Come on grandfather let me give me a chance. " knowing it won't be easy for me to do as I want to do unless I have their permission I said with a serious face.

"No, we don't want you to get burned. " said Grandfather without giving me any opportunity.

"Then why don't you try lighting a fire on the clothes and see the result for yourself, I am sure with your ability extinguishing a little fire won't be impossible. "  I said with no other option.

"Fine I will do as you request for this once since you have discovered water for the village, however, this will be the only time. " said Grandfather with a serious face before lighting the fire and moving it out of the bonfire.

"Father the cloth isn't burning. " imminently after bringing out of the bonfire my dad approaches him before exclaiming in surprise.

"You are right and the odd thing is the fire is brighter even when it's this little and it is also not spreading but burning in a single place. " said Grandfather in agreement as he also exclaimed in surprise.

"Kai, why are you smiling explain. " mom who noticed the smile on my face said with confusion.

"How can it not bring a smile to my face when I was right all along. " I asked her with a smile before bursting into laughter "I have discovered Oil. "
