DARK CONTINENT

Uriel and the other two Mages were gone for a few hours. When they returned from Knight of Rune's area, there was an indigo-robed old man with a bald head. This old man's facial features seemed ordinary but his two hands were abnormally thick. A light green pouch hung on his waist and his aura was extremely ordinary. When he entered the Ivory Tower's camp area with Uriel and other two, he immediately and impolitely sat down on a stone chair in the center on the camp.

After Beirut issued an order, all apprentices instantly gathered in the center.

"Your fortunes are quite great today, you are unexpectedly able to see Elder Garen true face. Quick come over and pay your respects! Elder Garen is our own Ivory Tower's exploration specialist. He had been traveled around the world collecting new knowledge for the Great Library. His otherworldly experiences are out of your imaginations Elder Garen is also the strongest among us Grade 2 Mage. He has just recently returned from the secret realm's entrance and has a few things to help guide you." Beirut hastily spoke to everyone.

Once everyone heard this, although some other veteran apprentices had already made this guess in his or her hearts, he or she still couldn't help to formally pay his or her respect to the bald-headed old man. Elder Garen is a legendary figure inside Ivory Tower. His adventures around the world had been written in a journal and published at the Great Library. Many apprentices read it and imagine themselves the main character of the adventure.

"Stand up straight! You are my Ivory Tower's most outstanding apprentices. Originally the tower planned to send the apprentices to our own secret realm every ten years. However, I didn't expect the unknown secret realm to appear, so we didn't have any alternative and decide to do it early here. Nonetheless, according to Elder Beirut's word, those are chosen here far more impressive surpasses those that decade ago." The bald-headed old man examined Max and the other apprentices before exposing a satisfied expression while nodding his head.

"Elder Garen, these fellow are definitely our tower's most outstanding group in hundred years. By lucky coincidence, we were able to obtain three grade S talents last session and if they reap sufficient benefits inside the realm, their future is limitless. So perhaps this is our opportunity to our tower to catch up with Radiance Academy." The stout man Beirut stood beside the old man and replied with a laugh.

"I hope this is the case. Along with other old geezers from other factions, we already made a calculation to have the approximate probe of the secret realm. We tentatively determined it to be an extremely rare man-made secret realm but while the traps are unknown, the probability of danger should be sharply lower than usual. This man made secret realm already created almost million years and reaching the end of its life. In another few decades, it should be delayed on its own and disappear. Of course, all secret realm have certain risks with them. All you have to do is to search for as many precious resources as you can. Do not dream to find any ancient legacy like Knight of Runes back then. That location is dangerous and your strength is not enough. Atlantis and Sleeping Forest already secretly made an alliance. In order to oppose that, our Ivory Tower and Knight of Runes has just discussed to make our own alliance too. However, an alliance is only an alliance and no more. if you genuinely do encounter something good, then you should act as you would, no matter what faction the opposing apprentice came from. If such case truly arises, we will take responsibility, even against Radiance Academy!" Elder Garen said in extremely opposing manner.

"Man-made secret realm!"

"There should be some ancient legacies!"

"An alliance with Knight of Runes?"

….…..

Amazement, shock, and excitement appeared on each apprentice's faces; mostly displayed an expression of unexpectedness.

Elder Garen seems turned a blind to this and proceed to say, "However, you must not lower your guard. In the man made secret realm, there is still a possibility of encountering traps that far surpass your imagination. For example, there could be monsters that exist in the secret realm that survived since ancient times could be so vile that normal people would have no way of surviving."

The other Ivory Tower's Mages also gave a few reminders.

After the group of apprentices, a cold shiver once again arose in their hearts. Only Max can't keep his excitement.

"A whole new world of danger. I have been aching to let loose. Haha!"

"All of this is secondary. The most pressing issue is still those that came from Dark Continent!" Elder Garen once again said something that caused everyone to jump in fright.

"What! Those heretics from Dark Continent? Elder, are you joking. If the apprentices enter the secret realm, wouldn't be another war inside?" This time Uriel's face that kept quiet since beginning underwent a drastic change as he hastily asked a question.

"Hmph, do you think I am treating this situation as a joke?! You don't need to worry, they can only send apprentice level just like us. Our apprentices can be matched for them and make big contributions inside if they kill them." Elder Garen let out a harrumph as he spoke.

"I'm made a mistake in thinking like this, please forgive me, Elder Garen," Uriel remembered that this old man paid a lot of intention to his face while closing the issue but her eyes are on Max.

"However, it's also lucky this way. Otherwise, Atlantis would hog the secret realm for themselves and would not inform to the union. Elder Garen, we can thus look at it as a good thing." Beirut had a face full of a smile as he spoke.

'Heretic? Dark Continent? From the records in the library next to Central Continent, there is another large continent hundred of thousands kilometer away. There is not part of our union. They were e proclaimed to practiced an evil technique and pay no regard to human life. Sound like a good place.' Max smiling inside.
