It was completely dark now and the silence spread over like cancer. Along with the surrounding environment, we started panicking. Besides being very much happy and excited, we were also insecure and afraid about the creepy area.
There was no other dwelling place beside us, the only human habitation nearest to us was about a km away. The only heard sounds other than ours were of the insects and animals. Sometimes the noises terrified us like hell still we managed to ignore and went to have the dinner and we went to bed at almost 10 o'clock and within no time we both were asleep! Suddenly I woke up for no reason and saw the clock which was ticking 3 o'clock. I felt that someone was keeping an eye over us but being in the 21st century we all consider these as rubbish. I tried a lot to sleep but actually I was not able to. It was morning and the chirping of the birds gave a soothing relief to the mind and I was asleep again. Now things seemed to be awkward and the feeling that someone is continuously keeping an eye over us and an intuition always alarming us about some unusual happening threatened us somehow. Still we were not serious about it and took it much lightly and consoled ourselves by thinking it to be illusion.
The very next morning while having breakfast at the table, I noticed that something was wrong with Alex. His face has turned pale and he was lost in his thoughts so I asked him,
"Alex, what's wrong? have the breakfast!" but to my utter dismay he didn't replied. It made me nervous. I held his hand and asked,
"What's wrong dear? Why are you seeming so very upset?"
He then replied, "Babe, let's go out from here and have a new property away from this place. Stop unwrapping the things I think we should move away from here as soon as possible."
Before I ask him anything his words pinched me hard and I was exasperated and I screeched at him and asked not to repeat the rubbish again.
But for Alex, it was bolt from the blue and he wasn't going to accept it at any cost. He made up his mind to move away from there as he suspected something really abnormal which distraught him.
