After enrolling himself, Xiao Yan came out of the student authentification room, leaving the shocked teachers behind.
The sound of Xiao Yan's footsteps rang through the hall. After turning several corners in these vast hallways, Xiao Yan saw a woman in the distance, heading in his direction.
She was a sensual beauty, whose lush, golden hair grazed her shoulders.
She was dressed in a long, elegant lavender dress, with an exquisite make-up on.
She was roughly one hundred seventy centimeters tall, with a slender build. Her ample bosom looked like it would burst out of her bodice at any time. Her overall appearance was attractive, but gave the impression of being prideful and arrogant.
As the two slowly approached each other, the woman was deeply staring at Xiao Yan.
In return, Xiao Yan also stared at her, confused.
The woman's expression remained as it was, and she kept the same curious look on her face from just now.
Xiao Yan studied the woman carefully. Apart from her looks, he also scrutinized her dress.
The intricacy of the design, especially the fine embroidery that speckled her dress, was enough to make people gasp in awe.
Just as Xiao Yan was contemplating these matters, the woman raised an eyebrow, as though she had remembered something, and walked past Xiao Yan.
The woman didn't lingered around him for longer than a certain period of time.
"Umu."
Xiao Yan placed his thumb on his chin, and looked at the woman who walked past him. Looking at the fading back of the woman filled him with nostalgia.
He searched through his memories, trying to remember the name of the woman. Then, he continued to walk toward the same direction. As he did so, a name suddenly appeared on his head.
"I see. So that was Shen Xiu."
Xiao Yan laughed softly at himself for forgetting her name, and also he remembered that there will be a quite few arguments later, between Shen Xiu and Nie Li.
"As a modern person, I shall put my acting skills to good use, taking the spotlight."
Xiao Yan could not help but laugh at himself for that incredibly lame line, and then he continued moving forward.
❄ ❄ ❄
The place where he had arrived was a large classroom, with several figures within.
The first to enter Xiao Yan's line of sight was a luscious maiden in a pure white silk dress, with a countenance that of a goddess. In stark contrast to her dress, her hair was a flowing, lustrous purple that reached down to her waist.
Although her purplish irises and vertically-slitted pupils were somewhat odd, apart from those she could easily be considered a world-class beauty. However, a cold aura radiated from her body, giving you the impression of her having a cold personality.
Perhaps it was because of her cultivation technique, but her divine cold attitude seemed like a mask that concealed her true feelings.
She wore a silver necklace that patterned after a small chains. It extended from her neck down to the tops of her breasts, and her slender wrists were covered in a pair of lustrous silk gloves.
Xiao Yan had not yet forgotten her name.
She was the future woman of Nie Li, Ye Ziyun. She was the daughter of the Glory City's City Lord, and the granddaughter of a Legendary rank Demon Spiritualist, Ye Mo.
And in this wide, high classroom.
Even packing several hundred people inside would not make the room feel crowded. The high ceiling and the surrounding walls were a predominantly white color, with golden decorations as highlights.
Numerous wooden chairs and tables emblazoned with different symbols hung on its edges. A total of a hundred of these chairs and tables firmly stand from the floor.
In the center of this room that was tinted gold and silver, there was a flight of stairs about two steps high. Atop these stairs was a slightly bigger chair and table than the ones below, carved out of a piece of wood. A huge white word hung down in front of it, proudly displaying the word, teacher.
This place was located in the center part of the Holy Orchid Institute. It was also its most important place, where legends were born.
"Ohh…"
Even Xiao Yan could not help but gasp at the sheer magnificence of this room.
As Xiao Yan advanced through the room that seemed to absorb the sounds of his footsteps, his eye fell on the woman that sat by the far opposite side of Ye Ziyun.
She wore a yellow silk dress which looked soft to the touch, as well as a pair of long silk gloves. Together, they covered up most of her skin.
Her white skin was flawless, glowing a healthy pink, and her looks could only be described as stunningly beautiful. Her long jet-black hair was tied up into a ponytail that descended from one side of her head, exposing her face. In addition, her darkish pupils complements her overall seductive look.
She looked to be fourteen years old, or younger, and her innocent, youthful appearance combined the qualities of cuteness and beauty into a single whole. However, her breasts bulged proudly forward in a decidedly unchild-like manner.
"Ah, Xiao Ning'er." Xiao Yan remembered her name through her seductive look.
There were six people sitting behind Xiao Ning'er. However, only three gentlemen caught Xiao Yan's attention.
The gentlemen wore grey, brown, and black robe. Their hairstyles were also varied; they wore their hair in ponytails, long and straight. The one thing they had in common was that every single one of them have average appearances. One was sporty and athletic, one resembled a demure old man, and one of them had a childish personality. They were the very picture of fighters.
These gentlemen were Nie Li, Lu Piao, and Du Ze. They were distinctly different from the other students, who had been wearing elegant clothes. It was because, they came from a lower rank family.
As Xiao Yan thought about this, he continued moving forward, following Shen Xiu.
After that, he began climbing the stairs, but stopped when he reached the middle. Xiao Yan introduced himself and bowed, his handsome face did not show any expressions.
Xiao Yan had been a shut-in to a nearly ridiculous degree in order to read all his favorite novels. He did not build friendships with other people and avoided them, as well as the noisy areas he used to visit when it was still peaceful.
Then, he would just come out just to buy a newly released novel. This had been his routine for almost every day. As such, he did not have much contact with people.
After Xiao Yan introduced himself, he descended and arrived at his chosen seat.
