"ouch, fuck."
I woke up when I heard Matthew groan. Sitting up I looked at him as he knocked the glass of water down, wincing as the glass broke.
"Damnit." He looked up to see me looking at him.
"Why am i- oh right Sarah dropped me off yesterday. Wait was it Perry or Sarah?"
"Don't you think cleaning the glass in more important right now?" I smirked getting him another glass of water. I'm just being nice because hangovers suck.
"Thanks." He muttered picking up the aspirin from the table.
"You live alone, so can I stay for a bit?"
Humming in response, I picked up the glass. I bit my lip when one tore through and sliced my finger.
"Crap. Wait I'll clean the glass, go sanitize your hand."
"I'm okay I'll do it."
"I broke it, so I'll clean it."
"I said-"
"Go clean your wound, jesus Christ."
Not wanting to argue anymore, I pouted getting up to get the first aid kit.
He put the bag of broken glass on the table, walking over to help with the bandaid I was struggling with.
"Wear a glove next time. "
"Maybe don't break a glass next time. "
"Don't put a glass next to a sleeping person."
"I was trying to be considerate!"
"Well-" he leaned down stroking my hair.
"You're not very good at it."
I blushed, smacking his hand away.
"Shut up."
"You say shut up a lot."
"Shut- no I don't!"
He laughed going into the bathroom.
"I'm going to work, I'll come back by 4!" I screamed, walking out.
I saw a text notif, opening it to remind myself that my life is infact shit.
Y'know Liam, I'm not a very patient person. I don't appreciate what you did yesterday, you better be there at work.
I tried to ignore my gut, telling me to gtfo.
Almost at work, I yelped when a hand pulled me in the opposing direction.
"Wha-"
"We need to talk." Jeremy said calmly, a shiver travelling down my spine. Not good.
I struggled for a bit, trying to pull out my hand, but eventually gave up. I can't complete in strength, maybe I'll put my brain to use for once. I looked around, becoming more conscious of my surroundings. I tried to calm my panicked self.
He pulled me deeper into the streets, me trying my best to keep track.
1, 2, 3, 4, 5.
The amount of people around reducing with each street. I could practically gear my heart beat in my ears, my hands becoming cold.
Suddenly we were walking up stairs. Don't they have CCTV cameras here what the hell?
I looked out the window, finally able to recognise where I was. 5th Street, 8th apartment, 4th floor so far. Wait the left or right?
I attempted to yank my hand out, making him stop hoping to stick my head out to see which side.
Before I could even try to, my eyes were covered by his hand, his other hand now holding both my wrists. Darn it.
"Don't anger me anymore Liam. " He said pulling my head back.
We didn't climb anymore steps so it was the 4th floor.
I couldn't see anymore, but I felt the air around me get colder realising I was probably in his apartment.
He finally lowered his hand, leading me into a room.
"You can stay here for now." He said closing the door behind him as he came in.
I backed away, making sure not to trip this time. It finally hit it me, until now I didn't realize what he could really do. I started panicking again, biting the inside of my cheeks to not give anything away.
My back hit the wall, and i froze not looking at him.
I flinched when I felt his hand cup my face forcing me to meet his eyes.
"I don't want to hurt your face because of how pretty it is. That's why I never bruised Perry's face." He said, his face leaning closer.
Before he could reach my lips, my hands finally started working. I tried pushing him back, turning my head away.
"Stop."
He chuckled, roughly pulling my hands away. I winced as he squeezed my wrists, got bruises there for sure.
He used his other hand to pull my head back, keeping it in place. Forcing his lips on mine this time, I struggled against him, tears pricking my eyes.
He finally let go, leaving my hands. My hands fell beside me. My tears rolling down my cheeks. It feels fucking disgusting.
He observed me for a bit, leaning down, licking off my tears.
"Damn it Jeremy, stop." I pleaded.
Ofcourse here didn't, licking the tears that fell on my chin, then forcing my chin up to lick the ones that reached my neck. I forced my eyes shut, waiting for it to end.
Finally, after what felt like forever, he let go and walked out.
My body, tired at this point fell down, my hands trembling.
I looked down to see red wrists, that hurt to even move.
Wait I can't give up yet. I remembered the streets right?
I quickly pulled my phone out, searching for Matthew's contact and ignoring any of his texts.
L: 5th streets, 8th apartment, 4th floor, I don't remember which side.
M: what?
I heard Jeremy's footsteps so I also quickly typed in.
L: screen shot it, hurry up l need to delete the message.
As soon as I sent the message he walked in.
My eyes shot up to meet his angered ones.
"I warned you Liam."
I quickly deleted all of our texts, not trusting myself enough to delete the messages in time.
He walked over, and picked up my phone inspecting it.
"You just messaged someone didn't you?"
"You don't know when to stop sweetheart. "
"D-dont call me that."
"Hm you said something babe?"
"I said don't call me that!" His smile dropped, shocked.
"I kinda didn't expect that. You're more interesting than I thought."
"Come here." He said sitting on the bed.
I looked away, not answering him.
"I said come here Liam!" He screamed making me wince, but I still chose to ignore him.
"You brat, don't make me repeat myself again."
I stood up, trying not to make it worse for myself. I slowly walked over to the bed, my hands still not stable. Matthew will be here in a bit, right?
He reached out to grip my wrist, as I bit my lips, in attempt to not give him the satisfaction of hearing me in pain. He pulled me under on the bed. I felt his knee dig into my gut, my hands pinned above my head.
I winced as he dug his knee deeper, feeling worse than a punch to the gut.
I coughed as he finally lifted his knee, hovering over me.
"That's for using your phone. You're lucky I'm going easy on you."
He leaned down again, this time I wouldn't let him. Not again. I refused to turn my head.
My eyes widened as i felt him let my hands go, and creep behind my neck instead. His legs held mine in place. Why am I so easy to over power?
He pulled my head to face him, forcing his lips on mine again. I refused to give him access to my mouth so he gave up and traced down to my neck, his other hand travelling up my shirt.
"Fuck off Jeremy. Stop it!" I screamed tears streaming down my face pathetically.
His hands found their way to my hair, pulling them making my face lift, giving him better access to my neck.
He licked my collar bones, yet again and I could almost feel his teeth. I shut my eyes waiting for pain, but never felt anything.
Instead his weight disappeared off of me.
"You fucker!" I heard Matthew shout and I finally opened my eyes. He pulled him off, making him land against the wall opposite to the bed.
"This man already had a criminal record, how is he out of the jail?" I looked back to see 2 cops standing at the door recognising his face.
"Can you take him before I beat the shit out of him?"
The immediately came forward handcuffing the guy, as I sat up and observing, almost too scared to speak.
Matthew looked at me, then back at Jeremy.
"Actually wait a second."
He walked over and punched him, making him grunt in pain. He went In to punch his gut when one of the officers stopped him.
"Okay calm down, let the police handle the rest. Also we'll need to talk to the guy later once he's calmer. Bring him over to the station with his parents or guardians when he's ready okay? We need some information, we'll look into therapy after that." The officer looked at me.
"It'll be okay, alright?"
They left as Matthew finally looked at me again, slowly walking to me.
"I-" I choked, having so much, yet nothing to say.
He hugged me and I didn't protest, burying my head in his chest almost immediately.
Hesitantly he put his hand on my head and I couldn't hold it in anymore.
"Damn it." I whispered as violent sobs finally surfaced.
Still trembling, my hands still in pain and my gut screaming at me, I let it out. His hands around me tightened, as he lent down, burying his head in my hair.
After I finally calmed down a bit, he let go cupping my face so gently, i could barely feel his hands.
He wiped my tears with his thumbs. Pushing his hands away I buried my face in his neck, not caring about anything at the moment.
"Please don't cry." He whispered.
"I won't, just let me be like this for now, yeah?"
He chuckled throatily, as I nuzzled my head into his chest.
Safe. This feels so safe.
"You're okay now. " He whispered, almost as if he were reassuring himself.
I finally stopped trembling, and calmed down, enough to fall asleep.
