Chapter 4: Fenrir vs Minotaur
*The Scene opens to the helicopter landing near a colosseum outside of the city*
Ross: This is apparently where the GPS is saying Duke is located....
Jasper: Sounds about right. He always did like to make things more extravagant....
*The two depart from the helicopter and move towards the entrance*
Ross: You think he is alone?
Jasper: Wouldn't doubt it, he wants to lure me in.
Ross: But why would he be alone?
Jasper: They know they are being tracked. The locator implants we all have give our location away. He knows what he is doing.
Ross: But why can't we find the others then?
Jasper: Most likely Bishop removed them, but wants Duke to send a message.
Ross: Seems redundant if you ask me...
Jasper: No, Bishop knows we would come looking for them, and he knew Duke was itching to pick a fight with me...this is an opportunity....
Ross: Do you think you can win?
Jasper: I haven't tested the full power of Fenrir...and even in training we had a limiter that would prevent us from going to far.
Ross: But in the field those were deactivated?
Jasper: After you get used to using so much of the power, you usually stick to that limit...
Ross: Do you think they will exceed their maximum?
Jasper: They have nothing to loose....
*The two enter the colosseum. The stands are empty, and the wind blows through the empty arena. The light from the full moon illuminates the surroundings*
Ross: Huh, maybe he isn't here after all?
*Jasper turns quickly and shoves Ross out of the way, throwing him into the ground*
Jasper: MOVE!
*Just then Duke slams the ground between them, causing a shockwave that sends both Jasper and Ross flying backwards*
Ross: *coughing* Well shit, should have seen that coming...
Jasper: *Lands on his feet* Nice for you to show yourself....
Duke: *Laughing* ah, nice for you to come, I thought you'd be too much of a pussy to come after us, but you proved me wrong....cudos to you....
Ross: *Aiming his weapon* So, how are we going to do this?
*Duke glares and then smiles. He slams his foot on the ground causing it to split towards Ross. A giant spike comes out of the ground, driving the rock into Ross's stomach, which sends him flying upward into the stands*
Duke: Quiet, the adults are talking....
Jasper: So that's how it's going to be then?
Duke: Please, you know why you're here, and personally I could give a rats ass. I have no intentions on letting you take me anywhere, unless it's in a body bag....
Jasper: It doesn't have to be that way....
Duke: *Laughs* oh, But it will be...
*The Wind around the two begins to circulate, and Duke gets into a fighting stance.*
Duke: PRIMAL CODE, ACTIVATE!
*The ground around Duke cracks and yellow electric energy begins to surge around him. The air begins to heat up as the dust begins to swirl around Duke's body. A yellow glow begins radiating off of Duke.*
Jasper: Shit....ROSS! stay out of this!
Ross: *Coughing and wiping the blood from his mouth* Yep....gotcha....I'll cover you....
*Duke roars as the energy around him begins to fade revealing his transformed state. Chains clang around him, his eyes glow red, two bull like horns protrude from his head, his black hair has a red like tint to it, and his arms are encased in solid armored rock*
Jasper: You....released the Primal Codes full power....
Duke: *Gives a sinister grin* Why not? No ones is holding us back....come on, why don't pull that tail out from between your legs and show me what you've got?
Jasper: *Gritting his teeth* Fine, let's do this....PRIMAL CODE, ACTIVATE!
*Clouds begin to form above and cold wind immediately blows through the arena. The ground below begins to cover in ice and Jasper's eyes begin to glow yellow and blue. The wind around him swirls faster, and snow begins to fall. The ice around Jasper begins to encase him as white and blue energy swirls around him. A bright white light emerges from the ice causing it to crack around Jasper and he lets out a mighty howl, which radiates throughout the arena, causing the wind and clouds to dissipate*
Duke: Ah, so this is what your true form looks like....
*Jasper stands, his eyes yellow with blue slits, his canines peak from his mouth, his hair white and blue, and his arms encased in ice.*
Jasper: You're not scared are you?
Duke: *Pst* You think that your little light show impressed me?
Jasper: *Grins* I guess we'll find out soon enough....
*Duke rushes towards Jasper, he slams his fist into the ground causing a tidal wave of rock to erupt towards Jasper. Jasper jumps into the air and flips over the tidal wave and drives a kick into Duke, who blocks it with his arm*
Duke: You'll have to do better than that....
Jasper: I'm just getting started *Puts his hand out and a blue cold like Aura forms around it* AFTERBURN!
*A stream of blue flames erupt from Jasper's hand and engulf Duke, causing an explosion that sends Jasper hurdling back and landing on the ground*
Duke: Too bad your flames aren't hot enough to break through my defense....
*Duke breaks through the flames, revealing that he blocked the attack with his other arm*
Duke: My turn now....
*Duke rushes towards Jasper, who braces for his attack*
Duke: *Slams hands into the ground* STONE BREAKER!
*The ground explodes and a massive piece of earth hurdles towards Jasper, who jumps to avoid, but Duke is in front of him*
Jasper: Shit! *Gets ready to brace*
Duke: STONEHENGE HAYMAKER!
*Duke drives his stone arm into Jasper. Jasper coughs up blood as steam explodes from Duke's arm and sends Jasper flying into the seats. There is an explosion and debris flies into the air*
Duke: You're too slow Jasper, you might as well just let me kill you if this all you have to offer....
*Jasper jumps from the wreckage and lands on the ground*
Jasper: *Spitting blood from his mouth* You caught me off guard...my mistake...I won't be making that mistake twice though....
Duke: *Laughs* getting cocky aren't ya?
*Duke rushes Jasper once more, but this time Jasper slams his hands on the ground. The ground is quickly enveloped with ice, causing Duke to loose his footing and slide towards Jasper*
Duke: What the hell?!
Jasper: I've got you now...
*Jasper slides under Duke and drives his foot into Duke's face, which lifts him into the air. Jasper quickly teleports above him flipping downward and sends his foot into the back of Duke's head causing him to hit the ice covered ground face first. The ground shatters and ice is throw into the air. Jasper, still airborne, clasps his hands together*
Jasper: AFTERBURN!
*Blue flames ignite from Jasper's hands and hit Duke, causing a massive blue explosion. Jasper lands on the ground panting.*
Jasper: *Sweat drops down Jasper's face as he pants* Damnit...I can already feel the after effects of staying in this form for too long....I need to end this now....
*Duke stands to his feet, blue embers fly off of him as he walks towards Jasper*
Duke: I'm impressed, I should have been more vigilant than to fall for something like that....
Jasper: I can tell you are feeling the effects as well from using the Minotaurs power too....
Duke: *Laughs* Maybe, maybe not, but I know one thing for certain, you're not leaving here alive....
Jasper: We will see....
*Duke slams his hands into the ground and picks up a piece of earth. He throws it at Jasper, who runs to the side, just as Duke meets him and they begin landing blows at one another. Duke punches Jasper in the stomach and sends him flying upward.*
Duke: PULSE SPLITTER!
*Yellow energy flows around Duke as he sends a blast of energy flowing towards Jasper. The blast hits and causes a massive explosion, which sends Jasper into the ground*
Duke: *Grabbing Jasper by the throat* Looks like I won, but don't take it to heart, you tried your best, I was just better....
Jasper: *Weakly* Don't get carried away.....
*Duke gets ready to punch Jasper in the chest, but a shot cracks through the air and a bullet rips through Duke's left shoulder, causing him to drop Jasper*
Duke: *Yells in pain* SON OF A BITCH!
Ross: *Cocks the rifle once more* You forgot about me asshole!
Duke: DO YOU HAVE A DEATH WISH TOO?!
*Jasper bends down and ice begins encasing around his arm*
Jasper: I'd be more worried about what's in front of you....
Duke: What?
Jasper: GLACIAL DRILL IMPACT!
*The ice around Jasper's arm turns into a drill like spear, impaling Duke through his chest*
Duke: *Coughs Up blood* Y.....you....bastard....
Jasper: *Yells* AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
*The ice begins to spin and Jasper drives Duke into a wall. The explosion causes dust and debris to fly all over the place. Jasper pulls the spear out of Duke, and he slumps to the ground*
Duke: *Coughing blood* Well...was not expecting that....
Jasper: Where are the others?
Duke: Hm....they are going back to place that started all of this....
Jasper: What?!
Duke: *Smiles* That's right...SEGMA Headquarters....
Jasper Why, for what purpose?
Duke: Can't be pursued if the pursuers are eliminated....*Chuckles*
Jasper: It didn't have to be this way....
Duke: You chose your path, and so did we, but hopefully you chose wisely.
Jasper: What's that supposed to mean?
Duke: *Grins Weakly* you'll learn soon enough....
*Duke's Eyes close, and stops breathing*
Jasper: *Gritting his teeth* Damnit....
*Ross runs over to Jasper*
Ross: Holy shit, your wounds are already healed!
Jasper: We need to get moving....
Ross: What did he say?
Jasper: Their Target is Headquarters....and we don't have much time....
