Chapter 1

(Y/n) POV

   I was sleeping in the guild hall in my normal place on the stool near in the middle of the bar. I mainly slept there because when I woke up I could ask Mira for some (f/d) when I wake up or for some (f/f). Everyone knew it was virtually impossible to wake me. Only a few things worked. I can still hear everyone talking but I'm just too lazy to respond.

I guess that's why they call my the lazy wizard. That and I don't really go on quests. That's only if I'm running short on money or being dragged to go with Erza some place. Sometimes Natsu or Grey drag me places but only if they have to take someone else.

I felt 2 magical beings. One was of dragon fire, which I had no doubt in my mind that it was Natsu, then there was a new one. It seemed to be more like requip magic but a little different. Maybe it was celestial spirits. I don't really know why but I always thought celestial magic users were weak. (Plz don't hate me I like Lucy and all but just agree for the sake of the story) Maybe this wizard will prove me wrong.

Maybe she is coming to join the guild. If she is with Natsu... maybe his girlfriend? ...Nah Natsu isn't dating material... yet. Maybe when he is older.

I open my (e/c) eyes and look directly at Mira. She seems to notice my gaze and asks with a polite smile "Do you want some (f/d), (y/n)?"

I rub my sleepy eyes with the sleeve of my sweater then look at Mira with a nod. Smiling she fills up a cup with (f/d) and puts a bendy straw in. I put a 200 jewels on the counter and slide it over to Mira.

   "You seem more active" Mira said.

   "I think Natsu has a girlfriend or maybe brought someone who might want to join. I can feel them coming closer to the guildhall." I said fighting back a yawn. Mira giggled. 'Was it something I said?' I thought tilting my head a little as I lifted it. Mira began to pet my head and run her fingers through my (h/c) locks. I close my eyes and lean into her touch as she giggles a little more.

Suddenly a loud bang of the guild doors stopped Mira from petting my head making me give a little whine. Laying my head back down on the bar I turn my head to see Natsu beat the crap out of the person who told him the salamander was going to be in Hargeon town. It ended up being a rumor he heard and wasn't real.

   I watch as everyone starts to fight. Elfman starts to tell everyone what real men do and Grey asks the new girl for her clothes, as he is naked and I couldn't hear from far away but Natsu is quick to insult him. I let out a huge yawn as Mira gets hit my a flying Elfman when she went to go talk to the blond. I open my eyes all the way and pick my head up. I turn my chair around to face the door. (I'm doing this based off memory so hopefully I'm not too bad)

   I feel master is near I twitch my nose as Cana joins in the fight to get people to stop which only encourages them to fight her instead. I look at the door as master kicks it open making everyone quiet.

   "Will you fools stop fighting like children?" Said the master. He was in his bigger form. I don't really know how to explain how he gets taller then shorter.

   "THAT GUY IS HUGE!" Said the blond new girl.

   "I'm sorry master. I didn't know you were still here" Mira said happily. I yawned and rubbed my eyes with my sleeve.

   "Man talk about a bunch of babies" Natsu said while laughing. I watched as Master stepped on Natsu. Master then direct his attention to the blond.

   "Are you new here?" He said grumbles.

   "Y-yes s-sir" The blond said probably scared of his size. Yawning again I try to keep myself awake. Master then began to shrink himself down to his small form.

   "Nice to meet you" He said with a closed eyes smile.

   "This little guy is tiny. But he's the master?" The blond questioned.

   "Of course now let me introduce you to the Fairytail guild master Makarov." Mira said with a closed eyes smile. I turn my chair back around to face the bar and put my head down on my arms. I close my eyes and slow my breathing so I can listen to them speak. Master jumps to the 2nd story balcony but hits his head on the railing. I can hear the bang from here.

   "Alright you fools you have done it again. Just look at all this paper work. It's the biggest pile of complaints yet. All you kids are good for is getting me into trouble." I frown a little at this and open my eyes a little bit. "However..." He said as he lit the papers on fire.

   "I say to hell with the counsel." He threw the papers in the air as Natsu went to eat the fire. Sometime he acts like dog... or maybe it's just my imagination.

   "Now any power that surpasses reason still comes from reason right? Magic isn't just some kind of power. It only work when the energy flowing inside of us and the natural energy flowing around us are in perfect synchronization." I take a sip of my drink through the straw and close my eyes again. "To perform magic one must have the ability to focus and have a strong mind. It should take over your being and pour out of your soul. If we always worry about following rules then our magic won't progress. Don't let the counsel scare you, follow the path you believe in. It's what makes the Fairytail guild number one." He says everyone lifts their hand up and does the Fairytail sign. I open my eyes and slowly lift my hand as well and smile a light smile. Everyone yells or makes some noise but me. I smile because I know I have chosen the right guild since I was a kid.
