The wyvern roared in pain as Wu Haotian finally pulled the blade from its flesh, causing a large amount of blood to spurt out from the enormous wound.
But even with such a serious wound, the wyvern refused to fall.
Wu Haotian continued to move in an unpredictable pattern, swerving left and right to evade the wyvern's powerful tail swings.
The wyvern was now sandwiched between Wu Haotian and the shuttle, and just as the wyvern was about to charge towards Wu Haotian, another laser beam struck it on the back.
As it flinched from the shot, the wyvern actually exposed its earlier wound to Wu Haotian, and he was not about to let this opportunity slip away!
Wu Haotian raised the Sky Reaper up high before bringing it down, the same action he used when he took care of the wyvern's breath attack earlier.
The invisible slash landed directly on the earlier wound, superimposing on it as though Wu Haotian had all the time in the world to trace it carefully.
With this one strike, a large amount of blood immediately burst out from the wound!
For a moment, it was as though a dark red firework had bloomed in the sky, and blood rained down onto the ground below like a waterfall.
The wyvern finally lost control over its wings, falling from the sky and crashing into the ground below, sending a cloud of dirt and dust up into the air.
Fortunately Yan Bingru's two teammates were not directly under the wyvern, or they might have been crushed to death from the impact!
Yan Bingru's eyes sparkled with a bright light as she watched on.

"Yes, we are okay here…more importantly, did you see that?"
The other party asked after a short hesitation.
"Is that really who I think it is?" another voice added, this time it was that of the Controller.
"Yes, that is indeed Wu Haotian. Seems like our rescue party is quite the big shot!" Yan Bingru was the one with the keenest eyesight, and thus confirmed it for her teammates.
"Haha, I guess it was worth the scare if I actually get to see the famous Wu Haotian in action!"
"What's with the sudden change in mood, I saw you crying just a while ago!"
"Shut up! You were scared as well!"
The tension finally left Yan Bingru as she listened to her teammates squabble.
It finally felt like everything was over!

Yan Bingru suddenly spun around to observe her surroundings, afraid that she would jinx it once again.
She let out a sigh of relief after realising that there were no new beasts around that she had to deal with.
Yan Bingru packed up her rifle and started to make her way towards her teammates instead of the rendezvous point.
With how things had progressed, she just wanted to quickly meet up with the others. They could always make their way to the rendezvous point together later if necessary.
By now, the shuttle was already much closer as it steadily approached the two of her teammates in front.
When Yan Bingru looked up, she could see that the design and model of the shuttle was far better than that of their own pickup shuttle.
As expected of Top-tier hunters, even their transport vehicles were vastly different from that of peasants like them!
But from the corner of her eye, she noticed something amiss.
Why did it seem like Wu Haotian was flying towards her instead of following the shuttle?
Yan Bingru stopped where she was and turned her attention towards Wu Haotian as he approached.

In other words, he was the perfect guy in terms of his appearance.
But anyone who did not live under a rock would know that Wu Haotian was a lot more than just his looks!

Facing such a legendary character, Yan Bingru would definitely be lying if she said that she was not nervous!
"Thank you for the help! We definitely wouldn't have made it out this time were it not for you!" Yan Bingru gave a deep bow to show her gratitude, her long ponytail almost flipping to the front because of it.
"You are…" Wu Haotian replied, his tone slightly unsure.
"Yan Bingru! I am just a Low-tier Hunter though, so you probably wouldn't have heard of me before. Oh, I am part of the Hunting Team with the others!" Yan Bingru stood back up straight and was slightly embarrassed as she introduced herself.

Why did everything she could think of to introduce herself seem to be so demeaning in nature?
"Yan Bingru…" Wu Haotian let out a smile as he looked at her face.
"Y-Yes?" it was like a peasant meeting the emperor, so she could not help stuttering a little.
"Do you want to leave together?" Wu Haotian asked.
"Y-Yes, sorry, I forgot that we probably should leave here first," Yan Bingru was further embarrassed by his remark.
Wu Haotian must have thought that she was one of those crazy fans of his, trying to take the chance to know him!
"No, what I meant was if you want to stay by my side? No, I should say…do you want to be my wife?"
Yan Bingru was stumped for a moment before finally answering, "Are you crazy?"
