If you follow a plan, everything will work out

Yaacov looked at Mormo hesitantly and said, "I don't think that we will stand a chance, the monsters in the inner circle of the forest are unique, strong, and unpredictable, even a few 9-god-level cultivators need to be cautious at any time here".

"I understand what you are saying, but it is very hard for us to become stronger without new experiences. In addition to that, we are at the 3-God-level way stronger than the regular 3-god-level cultivator, if we cannot win at the very least we should be able to escape the inner circle" said Mormo.

Moshe stayed silent, he had no grasp of strength so he was fine in either way.

Yaacov thought for a little bit and then he said, "Ok, fine. Let's try to fight one monster, all three of us will jump at the same time and inflict mental damage together".

Mormo looked at him as if he an idiot, "It's a very bad idea, the monster has one mind, how will it benefit us to deliver three mental attacks at the same time for one creature, it might be a good experiment but as far as I predict the result will not be the addition of all of our attacks together".

Both Yaacov and Moshe looked at Mormo and waited for him to deliver his own plan.

"Each of us will do a different job. Moshe you will try to lock the creature in place with your essence, you are the one with the lowest amount of fighting experience in our group, and that is your best skill" said Mormo.

Moshe quickly nodded.

"Yaacov you are the best in our group at using the power of the essence, you will try to inflict damage to the creature, that should help Moshe with his task" said Mormo.

Yaacov tried to look very serious as he nodded, but it was quite visible that he was very happy with Mormo's declaration of him being the best in the group at using the power of the essence.

"And I… will disconnect his head from the rest of his body" Mormo said slowly with a wicked smile.

Despise everything that Moshe and Yaacov overcome in their life, this smile sent shivers to their spine, it was a smile of a true devil.

Mormo was truly messed in his head, his emotion was unbalanced, to say the least.

But in his heart, Moshe was truly his friend while Yaacov was somewhere between a friend and a property, and he felt a strong emotion towards both, so he would never do anything cruel to them, but to the other creatures and humanoid form of this planet he will be the embodiment of evil!

The three of them existed in the cave, Mormo took a small part of his essence and turn it into a radar that will search for any life form around them.

The forest was full of monsters, he very easily detected more than 100 of them, and one of them was already in their way.

"Something is coming" said Moshe, he detected the coming monster with his own radar.

Yaacov wasn't surprised either, so Mormo was relaxed to see that the past months weren't for nothing.

Moshe got tensed and he panicked a little bit, it was understandable as it was his first fight.

After a few seconds, a huge snake flew at a high speed from the forest in the direction of the trio.

Moshe tried to lock the snake in place but it moved too fast, it was impossible for him, it wasn't even impossible for Mormo, or almost any other cultivators that exist in any of the major clans.

It was part of his inexperience that made him even try that.

Mormo grab Moshe and jumped to the left with him as Yaacov jumped to the right.

The snake flew into the entrance of the cave and quickly vanished from their eyes.

Mormo and Moshe kept some distance from the entrance of the cave while Mormo created lines of sharp essence that will damage the snake if he would try to jump from the cave to attack them.

It was quite hard for Mormo to create these sharp lines, it was much easier to insert the essence into an object and make it sharper without always controlling the essence to stay in this shape.

Yaacov's face distorted and he abruptly jumped back, as he jumped a hole in the ground formed while the snake flew to the sky while it tried to bite Yaacov's leg.

Yaacov hardened his legs with the essence which pushed against the snake's face. The snake couldn't touch Yaacov because the essence in his legs became a force that pushed Yaacov from the snake, he kept his legs, but he was sent flying into the forest at a ridiculously fast speed.

Mormo panicked a little bit as he grabbed Moshe's shirt while sprinting in the direction of Yaacov.

As the snake flew in the air it spread its wings which were almost as long as its whole body, as he started to fly toward Mormo.

"WWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA" a huge roar could be heard all over the place.

Mormo finally saw Yaacov, he coughed up some blood. He flew directly into a lion-like creature with strong-looking scales that covered his whole body.

The creature looked angry, it was ready to eat Yaacov up.

Moshe who still was grabbed by his shirt, scared out of his mind, extract all of his essences out of his body and push them into the lion. He thought about his "training", the torture, and the helplessness that he experienced while becoming a slave.

The essence instantly touched the lion, it was about to jump and bite Yaacov, but he froze in place, his face and his eyes, expressed deep fear!

Yaacov looked at the lion as he extracted all of his essence trying to attack the lion with them.

Mormo left Moshe to fall on the ground, as he jumped into a nearby tree and punch it.

As the tree disconnected from the earth, Mormo while still in the air inserted into the tree half of his essence and kicked the tree in the direction of the flying snake.

As the tree flew, he used another 45% of his essence to make 3 stones to fly around the tree, that way he could move the tree in the sky, it looked like a missile that flew in the direction of the snake regardless of how he managed to dodge it.

After the snake understood that he couldn't avoid the flying tree it flipped his wings fast to create a strong wind in the direction of the tree, it did nothing to the flying tree because it was full of essence, and no wind can break it.

The essence inside the tree made it quite durable.

The tree hit the snake at the same time that Yaacov's essence touched the lion.

Yaacov's essence did nothing to the lion, its scale was strong and Yaacov's essence couldn't hurt it.

It was even worse because the lion woke up from his fearful state, he was angry and confuse at the same time.

The snake, on the other hand, had an entirely different outcome, the tree broke at contact which made a bloody hole on its chest, while the stones kept flying around its body trying to damage whatever it came to contact with.

Mormo extracted his essence from the tree as he tried to push the emotions that he "obtained" from the gnome into the snake.

The snake shouted a soundless scream, his eyes balls rolled to the back of his head while the stones kept damaging its body over and over again.

The lion flew in the direction of Moshe, as it tried to bite his head off.

Yaacov jumped on the lion as he tried to kick it.

The lion with his tail hit Yaacov, sending him flying again as if he was nothing but a small and helpless creature.

Mormo couldn't do much either as he had only 5 percent of his essence in his body.

Moshe, afraid out of his mind, started to run as fast as he could in the other direction.

"Shit!" Mormo thought to himself, as he collected all of his essence back while running after the lion which run after Moshe.

"Yaacov, kill the snake and follow us!" Mormo screamed as he run after Moshe, to him, it was very clear, Moshe was much more important than Yaacov.

Yaacov flew into a bolder, his body was in a lot of pain.

"Fuck!" he cursed to himself as he heard Mormo screaming.

"Does he want to lure all of the monsters in the forest toward us?" he quickly jumped to his feet as he run in the direction of the big snake.

A lot of blood flew out of the snake's body but its eyes were crimson red, it was furious!

The overall damage that the snake took wasn't too high either, it looked as if it was in a bad shape, but Yaacov could easily understand that the overall condition of the snake was absolutely fine!

Yaacov pushed all of his essence out of his body to circle around himself, waiting for the attack of the snake!

The snake looked madden as if he wanted to tear everything that was in its way apart!

Yaacov knew that this creature is way out of his league, even before he lost his power and was at the 9-god-level.

"HAHAHA, I must be crazy!" Yaacov thought to himself.

"Following this kind of a master must be the worst choice I have ever made"

"But I don't want to be abandoned again, I want to be useful!" Yaacov thought.

"I DON'T WANT TO EVER AGAIN BE LEFT BEHIND! I WANT A FAMILY! I WANT TO BE NEEDED! I DON'T CARE WHAT OTHERS THINK ABOUT ME! I WILL DO ANYTHING FOR MY MASTER! AND IF I WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ACT AS MY MASTER WISH …"

…

"I have no more reason to live anymore" Yaacov whispered into the wind.

A strong determination surrounded his whole being as the snake got ready to attack him at any moment!

Mormo kept running after the lion as three stones flew in circles around his body, he planned his next moves carefully.

He had already temporally forgotten that Yaacov even exists, the only thing that was in his mind is to save Moshe!

Moshe on the other hand was too afraid to think!

"Please help me!" Moshe shouted.

Mormo inserted some essence into the ground while making the stones fly in the direction of the lion.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM

A strong sound appeared when the stones hit the scales of the lion. The stones shuttered completely, while Mormo tried to make the essence that was on the lion to lock the beast in place.

"Moshe, use your essence power on the beast!" Mormo shouted.

The beast got a little bit confused because it was possible but quite hard for it to move.

Moshe extracted all of his essence from his body as he tried to inflict as much mental damage as he could on the beast.

The beast got ready for the attack, it already experienced it before and its intelligence was quite high, so it managed to overcome both hindrances as it moved in the direction of Moshe, ready to kill him.

Mormo couldn't think straight, it was his friend! He run in the direction of Moshe, he tried to push him to the side, helping him escape the scaled lion.

The lion smiled as if to mock him.

Mormo had a very bad feeling, he heard a strong sound, it sounded like a wind that moved at an insane speed.

Before Mormo could understand what happened, he found himself in the middle of the sky, a giant bat grabbed him. Before he could grasp the situation and come up with some measurement, the bat already entered a cave that was full of bats like itself, it dropped Mormo at an insane speed to the ground!
