He has already made the food. However, I was supposed to prepare lunch. I was supposed to use my cooking skills to capture his heart right?


I remember my mother telling me to a man's heart is through his stomach. Stupid girl, you wasted your chance to entice him with your delicious dishes, but on second thought, there will be many more opportunities in the future, isn't there?

Yang Jiang glanced in Yun Lin's direction to see if he had heard, with a tinge of redness on her face from embarrassment. Yun Lin played dumb and pretended that he had heard nothing. He could not help but glance at her when she was not looking and smile to himself, 'silly girl

Yang Jiang decided to let go of the fact that Yun Lin dared to laugh at her misery. She was hungry anyway and began eating the food as soon as she took a seat.


Oooh, this food is heaven mmmh,' she thought as she closed her eyes for the test.


She knew the man in front of her was an excellent chef, but she could not accept the fact that he could beat her. He may have some skills, but still found faults with his food like too much oil, too much spice, and excessive salt.


"It's obvious you are enjoying the food, Yang Jiang. Give the man the compliments he deserves and stop being stingy."

Instead of answering, he asks a question instead, "how is the food?"


Mmmh, not bad, but that does not mean it's healthy, like this fish, for example, is too oily, which she picks up and keeps in her bowl before eating.


Yun Lin can't help but twitch, "that's not healthy, and that's oily too! Why do you still eat it, then? Having already realized he would not be able to handle her answer, he stopped himself from asking. She is such a skilled counterattacker, especially with words.
