Wen Lin stood by the door leading to the hospital room, where the beautiful woman rested. He softly called out her name, with no intention of walking inside. He could not walk inside, he did not have the courage to say goodbye.

F**k why is this man so stupid? Jiang couldn't help herself but smile. Touching herself where Yun Lin's hands were on her forehead.


Well, this may be a positive thing as well right? This only means he has never been into women before right? Well, this is too good. Yang Jie couldn't help but feel victorious for being the first girl to attract the ice king. However, she also didn't know she is also going to be the last.


Yun Lin's attention was back on the road as he was back to driving. This made him oblivious to Yang Jie's thoughts, and the stupid smile she was having on her face.


' I am the only lady he's shown interest in!


"We are here," Yun Lin said shaking her from her stupor.


With an 'oooh' Yang Jie alighted from the car and headed to the house. In her daze, she even forgot to help with the groceries.


With that as an excuse, she quickly ran to her room and climbed onto her bed. As she hugged her pillow, she couldn't help but reminisce about the events of the day.


Burying her head in the pillow she couldn't help but squeal out loud like a teenager in love.


Well, she was in love, except she wasn't a teenager.


In her dreamland again she did not hear someone knocking on her door. So, she also did not hear someone walking in and calling her name. However, she felt someone shaking her shoulders. Only then did she come out of dreamland.


With a thud, she found herself on the floor on her butt.


"You..you..you why do you keep creeping on me don't you know it's freaking scary!!!" she shouted trying to mask her embarrassment.


'Ooh no what have I done, now he will think I am a weirdo'. Slapping her forehead and saying, "What have you done, stupid girl? You have no idea what you did!"


Seriously Yang Jiang you zoned out on him again.


"Hey is everything alright...are you fine?" Yun Lin couldn't help but look at her.


Yang Jiang just smiled and replied, "I'm fine. I just have a lot of things on my mind lately hope you understand my situation."


"Ooh I understand your brother told me everything, don't worry okay, just don't be too harsh on yourself, okay everything is going to turn out fine," Yun Lin encouraged her while patting her head.


I feel like I am a child and he is my elder brother trying to comfort me. Well to hell with those weird thoughts.


"Okay thanks now if you may excuse me, I'd like to change into more comfortable clothes. I'll be down before you know it so I can make us some food.


"Well, I came to call you so that you can come down so we can eat. I already made lunch. I'll be waiting for you downstairs.


Yang Jie was left chewing on her nails. "What did I hear? Did I hear correctly?"
