Fainted!

The sound of the door being slammed caused the window to shake. Old master su looked at the tightly shut door with a serious expression on his wrinkled face. After a long while, he opened his drawer and took out a photo frame.

In the photo frame was a handsome young man sitting on the back of a horse with a sword at his waist. His face was filled with a bright smile, like the sun.

His withered fingers caressed the young man's face as he muttered,""Su Yi, why don't you listen to me?"

He closed his eyes and said in a pained voice,"would I harm you?"

The young man was still smiling at him, but he didn't respond.

Xia Ning came out of the study but did not return to her room. Instead, she went downstairs and walked to the piece of land that she had filled up behind the lake. She recalled how she felt when she had asked someone to fill up the lake that day.
