....Ok, read till chp 12 and i am liking the phase of the storyline. The FL description is not over the top, she is just beautiful and cool. I like a more neutral type of character and she seems to be like one. No idea about the ML yet, but hope its not over the top ceo. I like face slapping but too much of it..just turn me off. I hope this story will be like BHTNH (the 1st ever novel i completed here) but not too many misunderstanding. I want the story to be about the fl and ml and not about family - sister ***** drama. Just a heart warming, action, love story is what i am looking forward to... And I hope this is it...or is it not?🙄Any spoiler..I am all ears!

FL is a rising star. She is divorced and her ex is having her son (with her agreement). He is called the diamond bachelor and she is having many scandals (probably someone is plotting against her). Now he had left their kid with her to look after for a day and the she meets her son for the first time it seems. So there are a lot of mysteries about their past which will be revealed, I guess..

Well I’m 12 chapters into the story but I don’t really like it already. Although the FL can be seen as strong and independent, in my eyes, she seems like a coward. There are so many rumours flying around her but she refuses to address them seriously. Even if she says she doesn’t care she should do something about it...why keep the troubles like that? Oh, so the ML can solve it for you? Independence my ass. The rumours are obviously fake but her manager is a little green tea ***** who won’t even believe her nor take her words seriously. I wanna punch everyone one in this story apart from FL and ML’s kid.

Disappointment, Is how I felt about this novel. It's not that I rated one star, I just balancing it, so the novel didn't have underserving and overrated rate. Xia ning became more heartless and bitchy as the story continues. I felt sorry for Qiao Yu, despite how hard he tried. I just hope that he forget about her and move on, and let him have a happy ending without Xia Ning. I'm tired, there's no progress of their relationship, instead the FL became bitchy, I don't care about her anymore.

So far, I have read 12 chapters of this story which were released today. Till now hero and heroine both seem to be cold and distant people. Why they got married, why they divorced, why they had a kid has not been revealed yet. So I will just give it 3 stars for now.

When will new translation updates come? Original novel is already finished!! And if they had to drop translationg it...why did they start it? Really disappointed with translation team and webnovel site!👎🏼

Only if i never read this novel in first place, i wouldn't feel disappointed, at first the story looks promising, but ML is such a dull stupid man, and FL even worser as the story continues. Theres no much progress on their relationship (up to 307 chapter), really disappointing story as ML & FL ddnt change for better so far....

So, FL has severe depression issues because of what happened in the past between her & Qiao Yu, she probably was forced to give up her son Enoch. Zheng Ziming is aware of what occurred between Qiao Yu and FL and Zheng knows about her depression issues that's why the mere sight of Yu's car infront of her building makes him jump thinking that the past is out to haunt her again. Its an interesting story, where the ML first deserts the FL and then retracts his step to claim her back again after all those countless taunts & humiliations.

Doing this for the stones hehehe anyways, the reviews were great so Im adding this to my lib. i'll promise to read this up to chap 25. Then if its not to my liking i'll drop this and would definitely edit my ratings.

Story wise, the plot is nothing new but the characters' designs and personalities is what really gets to the audience. The author did a good job on making the characters relatable and empathizable. Also the female lead is not some pushover, damsel in distress. She clearly knows what she wants and works hard in achieving her goal and does not let anyone rain on her parade. The male lead is not the overbearing type where you have to obey or else get hurt. He is someone protective of her but at the same time lets her go her own pace. He treats the female lead as an equal, a partner. The other thing worth metioning is that both of them grow together and not apart. Both pushes the other to be the better version of themselves. That being said kudos to the author for writing such a good story and great job as well for the translating team in working hard on making the the thoughts of the author come across the audience fluidly.
