Chapter 37 Amnesia

Where am I? Jay looked down at his hands. I have small hands... "Jay! watch out!" a mother's voice cried out just as he was knocked back by a force. "Dear be easy on him, he's just 3!"

"Haha, my bad son, when you get stronger enough to catch the ball I throw at you, I will give you a very special present!" A perfect family of three, I guess living here is not that bad... He was about to go with his parents when he heard a familiar voice.

"Jay! Jay!" the voice seemed familiar but he didn't know who's it was. how weird.

"Jay, come on boy, don't die on us!" Don't die on us? He wasn't dying, he was with his parents not dying, he looked down.

"What the-" he was covered in blood and the surrounding changed his parents were lying in a pool of blood. Their own blood. "Jay, go hide.....live on my boy...." his father's eyes darkened the life drained out.

"Dad! Daddy!" The memories the 3 year old him that pushed down and erased came flooding back all at once over whelming him.

"DAD!"

...

Jay sat up quickly his body aching, covered in bandages soaked with blood and sweat he looked down at the girl sleeping soundly right by his bed.

'Who is she?' he looked around and saw nothing but the walls of a hospital room. Just then a nurse came in she stopped dead in her tracks and just stared blankly at Jay before running out yelling:

"He's awake! The patient in VIP is awake Jay Xaiver is awake!"

"Jay....Xaiver I guess that's my name..." Not long after the nurse went ballistic, a guy who is obviously a doctor came in waking the girl up.

"Jay! Your awake!" she launched herself at me and hugged me tightly.

"Uhh....may I know who you are?"

"What?"

------

"It seems like the poison caused severe distress and dysfunction to his organs, and his head was battered pretty bad and caused a clot in the frontal lobe and the part of the brain holding his memories..the trauma to his brain and the amnesia might last as short as a few days to a maximum of a few years.

Other then amnesia he may have some sort of PTSD, and multiple personality disorder."

"Don't worry about the MPD he already had it, but it was controlled. With his glasses. Is there anyway we can get his memories back?"

"The 'memory tea' has brought the memories of many people with amnesia and the amnesia caused by multiple personality disorder. Keep him drinking the tea and the medicine prescribed until he gets the memories back. And...." The doctor hesitated to speak the next sentence.

"Just say it."

"I was monitoring him for the whole week that he was in a coma, he woke up now and then, and his personality seems to change at night. Now this is not certain, but he may have amnesia caused by the change in personalities from now, and it will take a toll on his body if he stays awake because of that."
