"Excuse me sir, this building is private property." Seeing that the young man that came through the doors was a foreigner the lady at the front spoke in English.
"I am here to see my grandfather."
"Do you know the room number?"
"He lives in the penthouse."
"Let me get confirmation." She typed on the keyboard and within a few taps she printed out a visitor pass and he was assisted to the top floor.
When he arrived and was let off of the elevator he was greeted by an aged man who was obviously trying to hold by his tears from falling and trickling down his cheeks.
"Jay? My little boy!"
"Oof!" Jay was given the most power packed bear hug by his grandfather.
"I'm sorry." His grandfather apologized. "I'm so sorry my boy."
"No, no. It's not your fault grandfather."
"No it is I shouldn't have let your mother give her life. I was a bad father to her."
"No I think you were the best father she could've ever asked for. Here this letter is for you my mother left one for you and her two brothers." Jay handed the three letters to his grandfather whom took them with shaking hands carefully. As if he was afraid that the letters will turn into cinders and slip through his rough hands.
Jay walked out onto the balcony to give some space to the man who he can bet his whole car collection on that he'll cry. He fidgeted with his phone in hand for a while and hummed a tune that was stuck on his head before going back inside.
He was met with a sight that he had not expected to see, he saw Uncle Andrian and his grandfather crying, bawling like a little child. He was bewildered and flabbergasted at the sight. He picked up his imaginary jaw that had reached the ground.
"Never thought I'd see the two of my elders bawling their eyes out like the rest of the world isn't there."
His uncle gave him a half deadly half soft loving glare while his grandfather slightly chuckled from beside.
"Here I thought you were here for comfort."
Jay smirked at the remark, "I'm here to tell you to live with Jace in the US for a while. It's not safe here."
"We've lived here ever since your mother died. No one has been attacked or has been in danger." His old uncle said. "I'm curious of the reason for the sudden visit."
"The people behind my mother's death, they've been hiding well from us. They're back. They're aiming for anyone from the Xaiver and the Ivanov family. I am the main target, since my head is worth a lot."
Their face turned stoic and serious at the mention of Yulia's death. "I understand we will leave two days from now."
"Tomorrow. You two will leave tomorrow. I will prepare the jet." Jay stood up. "Oh and a question."
"Hm?"
"What's with the Russian last name?"
"Your great great grandmother was in Russia when she fell in love and married your great great grandfather. They chose to pass down the russian last name for some reason." Grandpa Ivanov replied. "I kinda like the name. It makes the family sound badass and cool."
"You have weird tastes." Jay waved farewell and hailed a taxi in front of the building and made his way to Jeongin's condo.
... ... ...
Jay went to Jeongin's condo since he came along with him to Ulsan. Apparently he had to make it up to his girlfriend. But Jay did not expect the horrifying sight at all when he stepped foot in the condo. The sight was rotting his eyes every millisecond of the few seconds of what he saw. The woman from before was having a bondage playtime with Jeongin. But thankfully they weren't to the part where they will dance naked. (You know what I mean.)
"Never thought that bondage will be his style of making love." Jay whispered to himself as he slipped back into the elevator.
