Chapter 64 Trust

Meanwhile with Jay...

Jay couldn't take it when he saw what he shouldn't see ever. But he saw and there was no taking back what he just saw. Out of all the people's sex life he could've seen it had to be Jeongin's.

"Man what is going on with my life!" Jay sighed as he entered a nearby hotel.

"How may I help you sir?"

"I need a room for one."

"May I have your ID?" Jay took out his fake ID that Michael once gave him. "Thank you. We have our regular room for one and the rooms are available for upgrades anytime."

"Oh. Then I shall keep that in mind." Jay found his room pretty fast and relaxed into a deep sleep.

He had a dream for the first time in a while. No, more like a nightmare. He was at the scene of Amber's death. The FA had slit her throat and cut her limbs into pieces. The gruesome sight he hoped that it will never come true, he was seeing it. In his dreams.

... ... ...

Back in the Eve Mansion...

The others left except for Jace who was chatting along with Roy. Even though the age gap between Jace and Roy is pretty big, they both didn't feel the gap whatsoever.

"As I was saying-..." Roy was about to say something when he heard a loud explosion. It came from the living room. "Let me go check that out."

"Wait." Jace pulled out his custom gun and signaled for Roy to be quiet. Roy, who has been in this kind of situation knew exactly what was happening. An attack from a rival.

"My daughter is three rooms away."

"Let me access the situation." Jace killed the sound of his footsteps as much as possible and pulled the door open to a crack. "If my men were broken through the only ones that are capable of beating my men are..." His words were caught off by a shout.

"I've got your daughter! The Fallen Angel's are back! Get the fuck out and show your faces Xaiver!"

"I recognize that voice..." He sighed and went out. "Let her go she has nothing to do with the FL."

"An eye for eye old man." Surprisingly he listened and let the unconscious Amber go. "Now that you know we are back I'll let that grandson of your with the same pain my brotherhood has went through." The man took out his gun and pulled the trigger two times.

"Ugh!..." The gun was aimed for Jace but he only took one to his shoulder but the other one...well...

"Ambie!" Roy shouted. "My gosh! My baby my poor baby girl!"

"Well. This is an interesting outcome. I didn't know that girl was the one who's destiny is to be killed by my bullet." The man chuckled. "I hope you've heard my warning loud and clear." The man turned and left his laughter was soon to be heard echoing back to the mess.

"D..ad.." Amber looked at her hand putting pressure on the wound. "Phew. It's only my abdomen. Thank God that it's not my heart!"

"My poor little baby girl..." Roy sobbed.

... ... ...

The ambulance came, Jace and Amber were taken to the city's central hospital for treatment. Jace only had the bullet taken out and a few stitches to sew the wound together but...Amber...wasn't that bad.

Suprisingly the bullet went a centimeter astray and she only needed to get the bullet out and a few stitches.

"Miss Amber. It's time for your surgery."

"Alright aren't y'all going to give me anesthesia or something?"

"We have given you that already Miss Amber. The surgeon smiled as Amber started to nod off."

"I'm trusting you with my baby girl doc." Roy said.
