Chapter 76 -Forgiven End-

Jay's P.O.V

I don't know what happened to me. I just felt so numb one moment then, everything just turned black.

Right. I probably fainted because of blood loss.

... ... ...

I open my eyes and I'm not in a hospital room anymore, I'm inside my old room. I slightly tilt my head sideways and Amber was sleeping soundly her hand intertwined with my own.

I figured if I try to get out of her grip she'd wake up, so I closed my eyes and it seemed to quiet down the ringing of my ears. After a minute or two, I felt Amber stir. I stiffened by reflex and Amber obviously noticed.

"Jay! You're awake!" Amber jumped up, and hugged me tightly. A few seconds passed before I the collar of my shirt dampening. "I thought I lost you..."

I didn't know what to say, or how to react, after all I had done, this girl...all she does is worry about me?

"I'm sorry Amber...I really am..." I ran my fingers through her silky hair, "I'll make it up to you for the rest of my life, I'll make it up to you. I promise to never leave your side again."

"It's alright...I forgive you." Amber met my eyes. "The next time you do that shit again, I'll fucking cut you up!"

I chuckled at her sudden outburst...It was just to cute!

"Yeah I'll keep that in mind."

... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ...

A year and a half later, Jay's P.O.V

I can't believe just a year ago I did that crap. Abandoning this beautiful family and her, just for some stupid shit not worth while. I'm getting better but I haven't recovered from the knee injury, apparently I still need another month or more of therapy. Every time I leave for therapy Amber always looks guilty and recently she started tagging along in support.

She usually makes me sit on a wheelchair when I can walk just fine. A little bit of a limp, but I can manage.

"Jay? We're here. What are you thinking about?" She draws my attention back to her.

"Just some things." I lifted myself off from the wheelchair. "You know Amber I'll be fine to walk. The doctor also recommends me exercises I can manage to do."

"I know but you're always in the gym doing heavy upper body workouts." She puts, and I pinch her cheeks lightly.

"It's fine amber." I quickly pecked her lips. "I'll be back soon, make sure to get lunch!"

Life is great. At least I got things settled with Amber, can't say much for Gun, or gramps. I've also thought about the FL, more importantly if I should go back to that life. It might put Amber in danger, and when we get married and have kids they would also be at risk. Amber always says to do what makes me happy.

I'm deep in my thought and didn't realize that my therapist had already left. Right my session was finished for today. I stood up and walked out finding Amber all serious talking with the therapist.

"You can expect a full recovery I'd say in a few weeks." Amber's eyes glow with delight at his words.

I strolled over and taking the hint my therapist leaves.

"So, did you get lunch?" I ask.

"I did. Let's go." She says as she pats for me to sit down on the wheelchair. "Come on, sit."

Maybe life is better then I expected to turn out to be. All that's left is the FL.

~P.O.V END~

The room was filled with an aura so cold, the cold sweat that everyone was shedding, seemed to freeze up. At the moment, Jace, Gun, Jay and the rest of the Four Legends; Ripper, Floppy and Shadow were discussing Jay's standing in the FL.

"I don't see why Joey isn't allowed back. I don't get it mate." Shadow spoke.

"He broke our brotherly code. The most important one at that." Ripper Added, making Jay stiffen a little.

"But I'm sure Joey did that to protect the FL." Shadow defended Jay, "I say that we give him another chance."

Floppy suddenly moved from playing around with a soccer ball suddenly ran up on Jay. Floppy's breath on the side of Jay's neck he spoke. "I don't smell anything other then regret."

Ripper sighed, he knew what Floppy said was true. He saw it in the youngster's eyes. He just wasn't sure if it was masked. After giving it a thought he turned to Jace and Gun who just stood silently' observing every move. He gave them a 'what are you gonna do now' look.

"C'mon mate. Everyone makes mistakes whether it is big or not. But to see someone who fucked up big time, own up to their mistakes...Joey's the first one who's done that." Shadow made eye contact with everyone in the room except Jay. "I'd say we vote. Of course I'd say 'Yes' to Jay coming back."

"Me too...I trust my...instincts..." Floppy said resuming to play 'soccer'.

"I don't know man. One the trust between us are broken, it's broken." Ripper said.

"Alright then two against one. What'd ya say?" Shadow turned to Jace and Gun who were discussing something.

"The Chinese Mafia have intercepted our ammunition supplies for the Korean Branch. They've taken around a 100 million dollars worth of ammunition." Gun said. "He has to prove his worth. He has to earn everything from the bottom. If he can solve that problem, I'll put in a vote for Jay."

"Alright. Gun, thank you for giving me this chance." Jay stood up and walked out of the room but, before he closed the door he made one last remark. "...and thank you for always being there for me. Even if I've fucked up."

Jay immediately closed the door, if he didn't he would've seem the smiles on every one's faces, including Jace and Gun.

... ... ... ... ... ...

"Yeah I've arrived in China. I don't know when I'll be back but I'll call you every day Amber."

"You better!...I miss you already..."

"Yeah me too."

"Hurry back okay?"

"En. I will."

"Love you Jay."

"En. I love you more Ambie."

Jay hung up the phone as he hailed a cab.

"Where to sir?"

"To Feng Corps."

... ... ...

"May I help you sir?" The receptionist asked.

"Let your boss know that Jay Xaiver is here."

The receptionist nodded and called Mr.Feng's office. A few rings later, Feng picked up and when reception informed him that Jay Xaiver was here...well...he blew out the poor lady's ears.

"He says to come to the 28th floor."

Jay apologized to the lady for her poor ears and left.

Soon he arrived and Feng immediately greeted him.

"What makes you cross your line and step foot into my territory?" Feng growled, the last time he had seen this kid, was when Jay was only 10, but this boy cut his finger off!

"I'm surprised you even dare to ask me a silly question before you ask me for drinks. Is this the Feng's hospitality?" Jay smirked. "But I suppose I'll let that slip."

"Stop blabbering and get to the damn point!"

"I want the ammunition you stole paid for. Over a hundred million dollars worth. Pay up Feng." Jay leaned forward his height intimidating the 5'10 Chinese man.

Feng took out his phone and clicked on a few things and when he was done, a notification popped up on Jay's phone.

[120,000,000 USD has been deposited to your account.]

"120?" Jay clapped his hands slowly, he backed away from Feng.

"I've given you the money. Get out."

"Yes, yes...You've given me the money for the ammunition but, you have not paid me the interest and the damages that you've cause to our business. Not to mention the fees that cost me just to come here myself."

"Y-you!" Feng was about to say more when jay pulled out a gun from his waistband. "H-how much do you want!!!"

"Let's see...Your hotel business and I want that island of yours in the east sea...oh! and I'd like all your shares and your life."

"M-my life?"

"Oh did I say your life?" A sinister chuckle came from Jay's lips. "I'll consider letting you go if you give me all the things I want in five minutes...starting....now!"

Feng frantically called up his assistant telling him to transfer all his shares to a man named Jay Xaiver, all the while signing away his ownership of his precious island he spent a fortune on. It only took just a few seconds away from five minutes for all of that to be completed.

Seeing that all of it was done, Jay's smirk turned into a frown.

"Aww...too bad. I was going to put a bullet through your head if you didn't make the cut." Jay put his gun away. "Too bad...you get to see tomorrow."

With that, Jay left.
