Chapter 4: The Capital Wasteland

'Thanks System can I check my new stats?' While I had about an hour until I came back to reality I want to see how far System took care of my life and body while making me sleep.

As I looked at my stats I asked the System, 'How come my stats are so OP?' *Ding host stats are just common stats for guards within the Vault-tec security and also some of the expenses that you have gained come from you're past life experiences and you're presets that you requested for training for surviving in the wasteland* 'Oh I see System so when will the main game start by the way?'

*The Fallout main storyline will start as soon as host wakes up from his sleep goodluck host* While John was thinking what was about how he was going to do things his in this new life.

As he was getting up from the long ass sleep he was flooded with memories of what the System helped him go through while it was taking the wheel, he found out that Amata's mom passed away due cancer, he was feeling truly sorry for her and how her father probably broke from the stressful situation. when I walked up to the mirror I saw all the training my body went through and I dont I had any body fat left on 'damn did the System go over bored and just trained my body to the physical limit I looked like one of those insane athletes by the look of my new body' then I heard the alarms going off and I knew it was time. Dad had left hours ago by the talking of some of the guards that were looking for me in my room or any information where I gone, as i put the rest of my supplies into my inventory in my System I took out my jacket and tactical vest out i started to get dressed and while listening in on the comms Armata's dad was pissed when the guards told him that I was gone and so was my gear. As i sneaked around i was close to the medical wing to fine any clues on where my dad went. I checked the office where dad was working and when i got there, i saw Jonas on the ground in a pool of his own blood under him as I checked him he had two gunshot wounds in his stomach and one in his head when I checked his pockets I found a letter that dad wrote I suspected he gave it to jonas to hand it to me when he left but it looks like the guard's got here first and tried to beat the information out of him. As I covered his body with a white sheet I searched the medical ward for some first-aid kits and stimpacks, and as I finished I heard someone came behind me I raised my colt up to meet the person but I it was officer Gomez he looked at me then at jonas body laying there. He raised his hands and slid his glock back into its holster and I did the same I could trust him, "Damn kid I'm glad I found you first and the others, look kid you're dad left the Vault and you need to go to, the overseer is on a warpath after you're dad left and now he's after you." I see the concerned look he has on and ask if he seen Amata, "No kid I haven't seen since the lock down but that doesn't matter you need to take the overseers tunnel to the Vault door and get out before any more bad shirt happens." I nod my head in agreement then as i making my way to the overseers office I saw Amata sitting on a chair in the jail cell I had to think a way to save her but the biggest problem was that overseer was yelling at her while two guards were at the door covering it.

I looked into my System's store I saw a lot of weapons and equipment I can choose from and I bought two flashbangs and through one and waited until the exploded then I rushed in and took out both Officer Wolf and Officer Hawkins by pistol whipping Officer Wolf in the side of his head and broke Officer Hawkins leg and punching him full force in the face knocking both officers out. I took the key ring that Officer Wolf had and went to unlock the jail cells door, as soon as I opened it the overseer looked back at the door and was surprised that I was standing there he smiled and asked, "I see you're here to turn yourself in, yes?" As he finished I took out my M4 and proceeded to knock out the overseers then freeing her from the chair she looked over at her father and asked," Is he dead?" while looking at her father's unconscious body. "No I only knocked him out, what's the password to you're dads terminal?" as I asked her for the password she looked at me like i was crazy. "Are you trying to go outside? Why would you do that for?" when she asked the question I told her my dad left and I need to go find him.

It took some time convincing her to give me the password to the door but I got it after arguing with her. When we reached the vault door she put in the code and as she did that the big 200 ton door started to open up. "Amata do you want to come with me?" as I asked she looked back at the vault she shook her head and said, "No I have to help my father the people here until everything calms down, who knows we might try to reach out to people and trade in the future, I'll miss you John," as she finished she wrapped her arms around me and hugged tightly while crying I told her, "Call me over my radio if you need help I'm sure I'll be around for a friend." after I walk out of the vault I was standing in a small cave with skeletons of people who tried to get in a long time ago.

As I walked through the small cave I heard the vault door closing behind me and I see Amata waving at me while crying so I waved back until the door closed and i was swolled by the darkness inside the cave so I brought my flashlight out my pocket and turned it on. As I was walking through I found that the cave in the beginning was a mid size cave and it took me five minutes to travel through to the door that has light on the other side. I asked System find out if my mapping system works,*yes host the mapping system processes information from you're travels and triangle's you're current location once outside* "Ok System I understand." 'I really hope I can fine megaton before nightfall.' As I pushed open the door leading outside I was stunned by seeing ray's of light shining through the door way, as I was pushing I held my hands to my eyes to ease of the brightness I saw the capital wasteland for the first time while being able to actually live in this world.

I saw trees overgrowth everywhere and flowers on the cliff I was on I thought it would have radiation coming off everything but my rad scanner didn't pick anything up, so everything looked clear and clean as if nature was trying to take over everything. As I was admiring the view I heard screaming and wonder where it was coming from then out of the blue my first quest came up.
