Chapter 38
*Melbourne, Caroline springs*
Hannah was a normal girl, a girl that felt despaired in her worts time. She just loves someone who doesn't love her, although they've never done something sexual apart from kissing in the cheeks due to her parents, they were close as a real husband and wife.
They shared everything, knows each other stories, know how much they struggle through life, knows each other hobbies, they pretty much know everything about each other, yet he toyed with her like a barbie doll and in the end, abandoning her.
She was hurt, beyond hurt. She felt despair for the first time, she's been chasing her ex-boyfriend for two months now, but he seems to lost interest in her. It felt like a thunder struck her head, she didn't expect this and she especially didn't want this.
All she wanted was to be happy, happy with him, but after chasing him for two months she realizes something. It's just wasn't meant to be, she moved on, and when she did she made a name for herself. She became the C.E.O of one of the most advanced and biggest hospital ever in history, she didn't want others to suffer the way she suffered. It was her sense of justice that made her the person she is now.
Now that she achieved the goal that she was aiming since the breakup, she was stuck to reality. She becomes rich, powerful, and immune to any pain, she achieved all of these things that are impossible to normal humans to even dream of, yet all of these made her feel...empty. She didn't know what to do next, she was so focused on achieving her goals that she didn't even notice her changes, the way people look at her now.
She becomes bored of this, she didn't want the fame anymore, now what she wants is...excitement. Things that can make her blood pump faster than a jet, make her feel thrilled where she will wet herself and...make her feel the loved she so longed for. Yet she knows this is impossible, humans became so strong that even falling from rolling coaster would only wound them, but not kill them, love become a silly thing as now people mindset change along with their body.
"Sigh...I'm so bored of being the C.E.O I want to be the Hannah I was before. At least I could find my love if i was like myself back then, sigh," letting out another long sigh she look at the windows, she could almost see the whole city because her office was in the highest floor of the tallest building in Melbourne, Caroline Springs. It's a lovely place where she grew up so she builds her headquarter here.
Suddenly an older voice called out to her that made her dull expression to a brighter one
"Dear we're gonna eat now, you should eat with me and your mom" it was her dad that works his ass off when they were still normal humans to make a living for him and her.
He and her mom was the light of her dull, void life. They're her superman as they give her hopes, and they're her batman as they protected her in secrets without any need of recognition. It was the only soft spot she had, anyone who dared to lay a finger in her family vanished in this world in a mysterious way.
"Coming dad" wearing her panda suit, she likes it.
she made her ways downstairs and saw the two lovely couple waiting for her before eating.
"How was your week anak?(daughter, dear, or anything your mother calls you)"
"Hhm, it's been busy, I couldn't even visit you two, I wish I had the time to do it, sigh"
"It's fine dear, we understand just how hard your work is, but please we're nearly reaching the age where we should have grandchildren, so get a husband and make a baby for us to take care of," said her dad as she just nodded without saying anything.
Seeing this Rainer just sigh
"How about the childhood friend of yours? Wasn't he in love with you? He seems nice and hard working so he's a fine candidate for you" hearing this Julie, his wife, and Hannah just shrugged
"He became missing since ages ago, we don't even know if he's alive, the only hope for us is Kris"
Julie said, suddenly the air becomes cold as they shivered in the killing intent they felt
"Do.not.speak.that bastard name. In front of me"
Kris, her ex-boyfriend, the one who made her felt the despair she didn't want to feel, although he died since he offended someone from higher-ups, she still couldn't forget what he did to her.
*inhale, exhale*
Calming down she was back to her normal self again
"I'm sorry about that, I just didn't want to remember that bastard's name"
"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have said it, thought you forget about him already," said her mum as she hugs her
"I did, I moved on, it's just he made a lot of innocent woman cry before he died. I'm so glad he was tortured before he died, hmp!! A bastard like him deserved it!"
While the whole happy family was eating their dinner, they didn't notice a shadow lurking inside their house watching them
"A perfect host, pretty, curvy body, and have a pretty good background, this should be enough. Hmfp, if that bastard of a God only let me take my body with me in this world, then I wouldn't need to to do all of these things" as the shadow spoke, it made its way to Hannah's brain, but was shock as a barrier blocked its way.
