Oliver stood in front of the entrance to the Heaven's Delight Amusement Park. He arrived early and waited diligently for his date. He checked his phone. She was definitely late. Maybe she got cold feet. He started having Elise flashbacks.

"Oliver?"

He turned around catching a wondrous view of Gyll. She had on an all-black dress. It really fit her nicely and really put her curves in full display. Her long legs trailed down into a pair of matching booties. Her short hair was done with an asymmetrical ecstatic. Even her makeup was magnificent. Oddly enough, by her side and somehow unsurprising was Jaquelyn, who waved to him like a lunatic.

"Sorry I'm late. Jac insisted I change...twice, before deciding to dress me herself." Gyll shifted uncomfortably.

"Think nothing of it." Oliver smiled.

"Blame the buses. Anyways Oliver, what do you think?" Jacquelyn asked pointing to Gyll with a proud grin.

"You look great Gyll. I almost feel unworthy." He smiled causing her to blush.

"You don't think it's too much?" Gyll asked returning his smile.

"Not at all. Well, shall we?"

Gyll nodded nervously but gleeful. "Yes."

Jacquelyn waved them off. "You two have fun." Once they were out of sight she smirked to herself. "Commence operation GYL-LIVER."

Gyll trailed beside Oliver unsure of how to strike up a conversation. Her nerves were getting the best of her. Thankfully Oliver was able to do it in her stead.

"It has been years since I've come here. Kinda nostalgic."

"We used to have field trips here a lot in middle school. I've only come a few times since then myself."

"Even though the park has been revamped it still feels of my childhood." Oliver looked to Gyll who only stared. He laughed. "That sounds weird since it wasn't so long ago huh?"

Gyll smiled pleased shaking her head. "No. I know exactly what you mean. It takes me back to some of the best memories."

"Come to think of it this park is where Jacqi and Elise fell out. I never found out what the incident was about but I know it was probably something petty."

"They fought over who got to sit beside you on the bus ride back."

"Really? Hard to believe Jacqi would fight over sitting with me of all people."

"It wasn't herself she wanted the spot for" Gyll looked down hiding her reddened cheeks.

"At any rate, it was actually Ricardo who sat next to me. Its how we became friends."

Gyll chuckled. "He was always at your side ever since, starting mischief. It looked fun."

"Ricardo is bad for your nerves. Always have been."

"But you still became so close really quickly. It was really something special to watch unfold."

Oliver stopped in front of one of the stands. "Wanna quick snack before beginning the adventures?"

She nodded.

After snacking on corn dogs the pair found themselves on one of the more popular roller coasters in the park. They both walked away with regret in their hearts. They cooled down at the arcade area before standing in line and riding another roller coaster, which they regretted even more than the first. Before checking out another attraction, Oliver excused himself to the restroom.

"How can he still be bad at roller coasters at his age?"

Gyll turned around to face her sister, surprised to see her. "Jac?"

"And you! Why are you just going with the flow? You are blowing this."

"What?" She responded lost.

Jacquelyn sighed. "Guess it's up to me to save operation GYL-LIVER. Here it's what you are gonna do. First, you need to squeeze closer to him. Hold his arm like this." Jacquelyn hooked her arm around Gyll's and pressed her boobs against

Gyll's face flushed with the thought of her holding Oliver's arm in her breast. "Uh..umm..."

"That should set the mood for this date. In fact, use every possible opportunity to snuggle in close. No reason is too small. Second no more roller coasters. You both look a mess on them. Nothing desirable about either of you."

"Jac..."

Jacquelyn cut her off again. "I would suggest doing something less extreme like the House of Mirrors. Definitely, have to lure him to the Love Tunnel. And no amusement park date would be complete without capping things with the Ferris Wheel. While on the Ferris Wheel -and this is important Gyll- you absolutely must kiss him."

Gyll thought of Oliver holding her and leaning in close. His soft lips pressing against hers in a firm tender kiss. The thought caused a small trickle of blood to run down her nose.

Gyll shook her head. "That's too much."

"Jeez to think you would overheat til the point of a nosebleed just from that. There really is no hope for you." Jacquelyn held out a paper towel.

Gyll dabbed at her nose with it. "Don't make fun of me, Jac."

"Seriously. You'll never make him yours at this rate."

Gyll looked away flustered twiddling her fingers. "Well...uhmm...see its just..."

"Just listen to your big sis okay? You'll be married in no time." Jacquelyn patted her sister on the back forcing a nod from her. She quickly ducked behind the bushes beside them seeing Oliver making his way back.

"Sorry about that seems I still can't handle those types of rides."

Gyll looked over to the bush her sister was silently cheering her on from the back to Oliver. "Umm...maybe we could try that one?" She pointed to the water ride with heart-shaped seats.

"The Love Tunnel? You sure?" Oliver asked.

Gyll nodded covering her nose with her napkin afraid it would bleed again with how hot she was getting. "Yes..."

Oliver held out his hand. "Well, its decided."

Gyll hesitantly took it following Oliver as he leads her away. Jacquelyn smirked rubbing her nose. "I'm such a good sister."

Her celebration was short lived. She heard Oliver's name and looked around to find where it came from. It didn't take long to pinpoint a small clique of girls. She decided to eavesdrop on them in stealth mode.

"That is Oliver." One of the three gasped not believing her eyes.

"And is that Jacqi's lil sister...holding his hand." A second with red highlights held a disgusted look on her face.

"That bitch trifling. It ain't even been that long since him and Elise broke up."

"Honey, I been said she was a nasty hoe, just like her sister." The shortest of the three with blonde hair and the only black girl laughed.

"I'll fucking kill them!" Jacquelyn whispered to herself through closed teeth.

"Nawl, fuck that. We gotta break that shit up. Period." The short one shook her head.

"Where they go?"

"She had the nerve to get in the Love Tunnel line." The redhead pointed to Oliver and Gyll in line still holding hands.

"Oh hell no. I should push her ass in the water. Let's go." The little one commanded and the other two followed.

Jacquelyn frowned. "Jeez Elise, having your lackeys go after my sister is low." She clenched her fist. "And the absolute worst move you could've made."

Gyll stood next to Oliver in line. He hadn't let her hand go, so her heart hadn't stopped racing. In turn, she was super conscious of her slightly clammy hands. She prayed he wouldn't notice too much. She'd die if he mentioned it.

They inched closer and closer to the front of the line until they were practically next. Then she got even more nervous. What was she supposed to do once the ride started? Slide in close? The blood was starting to rush to her head making her dizzy.

A splash and loud squeal called her from delusions. A girl had fallen out of line and into the cool water while two others tried to help her back up. Gyll noticed her sister walking to the back snickering. She wasn't sure what was going on but had other things to worry about.

Oliver had just pulled her into the seat next to him. She clumsily fell in off balanced. She found her back pressed against his chest with his hands firmly around her quickly catching her. In essence, it felt as if he was embracing her. For a brief moment, she had fainted.

It wasn't until the ride was almost over that she came too. She looked up still pressed against Oliver's chest. He met her gaze.

"Welcome back." He smiled.

She hopped up quickly realizing the ride was over. "I'm sorry! I didn't mean to force you to..."

"It was enjoyable. I have no quarrel." He flashed her a genuine smile that put her at ease.

"You are very kind Oliver."

The two finally exit the ride. "Should we take this time to grab some food?"

Gyll nodded happily. "Yes."

"Anything in particular? My treat."

She pondered a bit. "Chinese?"

He chuckled. "I use to always get Chinese when we came here on field trips."

Gyll smiled a little. "You would always get Kung Pao Shrimp with curry over low mien."

Oliver scratched his cheek shyly. "You remember that. Now that I think about it you used to get the same thing back then. Guess that's why you remembered. Well, how bout it? For old times sake?"

She waved her hands dismissively. "N-no...I was never any good with spicy foods. Pepper steak is fine."

"Alright, have a seat here I'll be right back."

Gyll sat down on the bench and exhaled. Who knew a date could be so stressful. She's gonna find herself with an ulcer if this keeps up.

"So how did it go in the Looove Tunnel? You make your move?" Suddenly Jacquelyn was sitting beside her. She almost flatlined.

"...Well...not exactly." She smiled meekly. "I kinda fainted...a little."

The color drained from Jacquelyn's face. "You're doing this on purpose aren't you?"

Gyll shook her head. "No, I swear. Its just...this is difficult."

Jacquelyn sighed and regained herself. "It's getting dark out. The perfect time to utilize the Ferris Wheel."

"Uh..."

"And remember to give him your best kiss."

"I think it's going to bleed again." Gyll covered her nose with her hand.

"Just go for it and it will all work out." And with that Jacquelyn disappeared just as Oliver was returning.

"Here you are, Pepper Steak."

From her position, Jacquelyn could see him hand a tray to Gyll and usher her over to a picnic table. She could also see Elisabeth's hounds making their way towards Oliver and Gyll.

Jacquelyn cut them off. "I guess my earlier interference wasn't enough for you lot. Guess I need to be a bit less discrete with you."

"Its three of us and one of you Jacqi. You like those odds?" The little one huffed.

"I'd take one of me over a hundred of you bitches any day, Tashayla."

"Aint nobody scared of you Jacqi."

Jacquelyn stepped into Tashayla's space. "Oh, I think you are. And playing with my sister is bad for your health."

By now her friends were pulling her away while she started getting more aggressive. "Man Jacqi you keep all that popping I swear to God you gonna have to shoot me the fade!"

"Tough talk coming from a borderline midget who takes orders from a snobby rich girl. she doesn't even respect you. Be gone little pooch." Jacquelyn smiled and waved condescendingly before returning her attention to Gyll and Oliver who seemed to have not noticed the altercation.

Gyll seemed to be opening up a bit more. She was able to hold Oliver's gaze better than when she first showed up and even held a consistent conversation. Jacquelyn gave her a mental high five. They got up and tossed their trash.

"Alright, Gyll ride the momentum and make sure you kiss him," Jacquelyn whispered to herself.

Gyll walked quietly beside Oliver. Her head was a wreck. If she got Oliver on the Ferris Wheel, could she somehow actually kiss him? What if she had a nosebleed in front of him? Or fainted again? Or fainted after having a nosebleed? She was already feeling woozy. Maybe she should avoid the Ferris Wheel altogether.

"How about we end with the Ferris Wheel. It wouldn't be a proper date if we don't. Or so I hear."

Gyll heart went into overdrive. "Uhh...yeah...ok"

For Gyll the time it took for them to wait in line and get into their seats was mere seconds. And then they were in the air. Her mind was circling around kissing Oliver. She wasn't sure if her heart was beating too fast to feel or if it had stopped entirely.

Oliver finally spoke. "You don't have to push yourself so hard. Here try this. Close your eyes and take deep breaths." Gyll slowly followed Oliver's instructions. "Now clear your mind and try drawing a mental picture of something comforting.

Gyll felt herself relax several notches. Her heart started to slow down. When she next opened her eyes she realized she had leaned into Oliver's voice. The crazy thing is, it looked like he had leaned a little into her direction as well. And was slowly coming closer still.

She clutched at her heart with her hands and closed her eyes. Then with all her might, willed herself forward to meet him. She closed in on him ever so slightly. The anxiety was excruciating but she was almost there. She couldn't stop, now. He wanted to kiss her too, right.

Then something cold splashed on her. She jumped back and shrieked. She examed herself finding that she was covered in a strawberry milkshake looking up to two laughing girls. One blonde the other with a burgundy streak in her hair.

Oliver immediately took off his button-down revealing a white undershirt. With his button-down, he started to clean Gyll off.

"Are you alright, Gyll?"

Gyll was frozen she didn't know whether to laugh it off, get angry, or die. The tears that started running down her face, made her decision for her.

Once back on solid ground Gyll ran off, waterworks still flowing from her eyelids as she passed Jacquelyn. Oliver gave chase but Jacquelyn cut him off.

"Jacqi?"

Jacquelyn looked pissed. "Why was my sister crying Oliver and why is your shirt off? If you..."

"Someone above us spilled a milkshake on her. I'll explain later..." Oliver spun around Jacquelyn and continued after Gyll.

It was then Jacquelyn spotted Tashayla get off the same ride. She stormed over to her.

Tashayla saw her and smirked. "What? What you got to say?"

Jacquelyn stayed silent and just continued to walk right towards her and then without hesitation punched her square in the nose.

Tashayla dropped like bricks. She barely picked herself up before Jacquelyn hit her again.

Tashayla's posse tried to pull Jacquelyn away but she turned around and kneed one hard in the crotch. You don't need testicles for that to hurt like hell. She turned back to Tashayla who's nose was completely busted and spilling blood.

"I'm sorry Jacqi." Tashayla said trying to scoot away as fast as she can.

"No bitch, you're dead."

The things Jacquelyn was thinking of doing to her were unholy. Fortunately for Tashayla, one of her crew had a mind to go get security

"I won't mess with her no more I swear Jacqi." Tashayla pleaded.

"Oh, I know you won't. Cause I catch you, on God, you getting murked. Bitch." Jacquelyn spits on her before running off.

*****

It took a good long while for Oliver to calm Gyll down. He had bought her a printed tee and shorts from one of the gift shops and she had already changed.

"I'm sorry for freaking out and ruining our date." She wouldn't look up at him from sheer embarrassment.

"You didn't ruin anything Gyll. I enjoyed every second. I should be thanking you."

She bit her lip. "You are very kind Oliver.

"Let me give you a ride home I'm sure you want to wash that out of your hair." She nodded.

They pulled up to her house and Oliver killed the engine. They sat in silence for a moment.

"Thank you for honoring my request today Oliver."

"Don't think of it like that." He smiled. "I'm the one who was honored to be able to take you on a date. It was my first since splitting with Elise."

"You...are very kind."

"Plus you were really beautiful. So maybe I got more out of this than you did. Feel like I should've done more."

Gyll hesitated before responding. "P-pplease...don't...hate me..."

Oliver looked confused, did he say the wrong thing? "Why would I hate you?"

Gyll shift over to Oliver's side of the car and her lips finally met his. She finally got herself to kiss him and it felt great, but what made it worthwhile for her was the fact he didn't hesitate to kiss her back.

He swept her away with his kisses. She was lighter than a feather and it was like nothing else had happened before this moment. He pulled away giving her a chance to catch her breath. But then it hit her what she had just done. She had just had her first kiss. And it was with Oliver. She might not even be alive anymore.

"I-IIII should go in now...and get some...air." She fumbled her way through her sentence opening the car door.

"Yeah." He smiled warmly. "Are you going to be alright."

She didn't say anything just nodded her head and held up her thumb, shuffling to her front door and going inside.
