It can be said that every person is impulsive in there own way. Rose is no exception to this rule, as seen by her running back to the castle to try to get information, and then realizing she had no clue where he would be.

Almost an hour later I tracked the King down. When I found him he seemed surprised by my appearance.
"Your awake? Oh but where have you been?!" He noticed the dirt on my shoes and knew I had left the castle. I sighed heavily before replying.
"I went to the library. Better question, what was the assassin's goal?" He seemed heistant to say anything, so I leaned forward and spoke to him in a low voice.
"His goal wasn't just you was it?" I knew better then to tell him what I had heard from Mrs. Ebony (Librarian) because it could get her in trouble. The only reason why she told me to begin with was because she thought I deserved to know. I also knew if I didn't rat her out I could get more information. S-shut up I'm not being sneaky! I'm just thinking about my options!
"Eh hehe you figured it out and asked my sister to confirm didn't you... Your too smart for your own good." In truth I had had a bad feeling since then, I knew something wasn't right, even if she hadn't told me I probably would have asked... S-shut up I'm not lying! I'm just not telling the full story. Besides, she'll get in less trouble if he believes this so shut your word hole!
"So, do have anything you want to talk about?" When I mimicked his wife he gave an involuntary giggle. Yes, like a pre-schooler. I glared up at him, despite my innocent face it has to be scary right...
"You were indeed one of the targets. I'm assigning you a guard like my son's already have." I nodded and then asked him something that I had noticed a while ago.
"Why do I have to have a guard if you don't." He made a pained expression, I knew why he didn't want to get a new guard. Part of him still wanted my dad to come back, but he never could.
"I don't leave the castle. Or attract people to kidnap me, they just want to kill me, easier to deal with." He jokingly said the last part, but at the wrong moment as his wife had appeared.
"Wilson..." Seething anger was heard in her voice.
"Ahhh Mariel dear... I ah..." He trembled and slowly backed away from me. The air was rapidly dropping temperature. Boy oh boy... Welp, not my problem, escape~

Later on it was decided that so long as I remained in castle grounds I would not need a guard, which I was glad about. I wasn't a noble, nor did I want to be one either. I hadn't seen the prince since then, it seems he was working on his swordsmanship. The second prince's health was apparently getting better too, so the Queen was primarily with the third prince now.

"Rosieeee come here~" It was the Queen calling to me. I sighed but knew if I ran she would chase me... S-shut up it wouldn't be funny or cute! Anyways I had passed her lounge on my way towards the maids dining room to get breakfast a month after the incident. I unfortunately got spotted.
"Yes, my Queen?" I ask as I walk into the room and curtsy.
"Ohh sooo stiff as always! Come here~ I have something I need to tell you~" I hesitate before walking over to her. As soon as I get close she grabs me and lifts me up. Me being three I was unable to stop her.
"Rosieeee~ Im pregnant~ Your gonna have a new sister-in-law or brother-in-law!" She sings and I sighed heavily.
"I recall refusing to marry a prince."
"You'll change your mind! Ohh you'll look so pretty when your older~ I wonder who you'd marry! Arthur? No maybe Christopher? Oh but Ryan can still compete too!" She. Is. Insane.
"I refuse. They can be my friends but I don't want to marry them. Stop trying to get us together were still kids!" I snap and she laughs and squeezes me tightly. I struggle but am unable to escape! Help?

And that concluded the third year of my life. I learned all the ettiquete rules of this continent, and I was now studying economics. Despite everything I still trained hard in magic, but I was too scared of seeing if I can use other attributes. However I had already mastered the water attribute, and was working on fire. I hoped to be able to control it perfectly in three or so more months, but I would be happy if I can master it in six months too. According to Mrs. Ebony there are rumors about me, all saying I was an unimaginable prodigy, but I blame my memory and other cheat abilities. I really am not that amazing, really!
