The dinner - I

Evelyn had never gotten dressed in such a hurry. She hurriedly wiped her face with the wet towel and then washed her hands. With wet hands she patted her hair trying to tame away the flyaways before walking out of the room and sleeping on good sandals. 

She walked downstairs and sat on the opposite side to the glass wall overlooking the city. It was obvious that the don would take a seat at the head of the table so she sat to his left. 

The silverware was laid out for two people, which meant that the don was definitely coming, so Evelyn kept her elbows on the table, entangled her fingers and placed her chin over them. She waited.

Salvatore clicked his tongue in annoyance to renew the shipment that had been brought. He often came around the shipment warehouses and tried on random products and this shit has turned out to be faulty. 

That was not something he paid for. He did not pay for faulty shit and he was not tolerating any deceit.
