sympathy from the don - II

Periods were a good thing to happen in some cases. Mostly, not but today they had proved to be exceptionally favourable. Also, it was the second time she had used this trick on one of the family members.

As soon as she closed the door to her room, Evelyn sighed in relief. The danger was over. Now, for all she cared, Salvatore could directly ask his brother about it.

At least it was off of her head for now and there was no way Evelyn was going to face the man again. So if her cramps lasted for one day or two at most they were going to last for an entire week.

Evelyn closed her eyes getting ready for sleep. Since she was going to receive her food in her bed she might as well eat in it. So there was no reason for her to continue waking up.

Someone knocked on the door making her hiss slightly. Why now?

"Come in," she said, rubbing her forehead in exaggeration of being tired.
