No more a party - III

She considered what to say to him. Something that would not offend him and something that would make it clear to him that the future was unforeseen.

"I think I need a lot of courage for that." She chuckled and he smiled. "However, we have just begun dating Salvatore. Why do we not leave it to fate?" 

He hummed loudly before standing up and pulled her up by the hand that he was holding. Once she stood beside him, Salvatore sat down on the chair previously occupied by her and then pulled her into his lap. 

"Now," he pulled her close and practically whispered the words in her ear, "if I leave everything to fate then I will have nothing in my hands and I do not plan on that." 

She shivered at the contact of his lips brushing over the shell of her ear again and again. 

"What I want is something I have to take for myself, Evelyn. And you are not going away."
