A Turning point - I

At first sleep seemed to be miles away from her especially when Salvatore was by her side sleeping while she was staring at the ceiling with wide eyes. At some point of the night Evelyn was staring at him.

Evelyn was breathing so peacefully and his chest went up and down in one slow rhythm making it known that he was asleep.

She couldn't help but stare at the rhythmic movement of his chest. She could tell that he had teeth in sleep but that also made her wonder about one thing. How much did Salvatore trust her to actually sleep while she was right next to him?

Because it meant that whatever her father had done, Salvatores' trust in her did not disappear. Because if it had, he would have never fallen asleep next to her.

In fact, she would have been given a room where two Guards stood outside the door watching her.

Before long she had slipped into her dreamless sleep.
