Prologue 2

"And where do you think you're going?" A man's eerie voice was just right behind them. They all widened their eyes in shock.

With just a second Elaine vanished from beside them.

"Elaine, Elaine!" Elizabeth shouted.

"Mother, big brother!" Elaine shouted.

Elizabeth and Jack looked at the direction of her voice.

There at a tree branch they saw a tall man standing, holding Elaine by the waist. He was a tall man at least 6 feet tall. He has pale skin and long wavy hair. His body was well build with great muscles. He was wearing black trousers and long coat. He isn't wearing an inner shirt so his well defined abs are shown. His red eyes are glistening in the night.

"Are you looking for this little lady?" The man said. With a crisp low voice. His slim rosy lips curved upwards. "If you want her back then come and get her."

"Give me back my daughter!" Elizabeth shouted with rage. She brought out her whip that was just hanging by her waist.

Elizabeth throw her whip right at the man. But the man vanished from the sturdy tree branch. The branch broke after the whip made contact with it.

"Ohhh. What a frightening whip." The man said jokingly. He was standing just a few meters from where Elizabeth and Jack where standing.

"Let go of her right now!" Elizabeth rushed at the man. She was brandishing her whip attacking the man relentlessly.

But the man was evading her attacks effortlessly.

"I'm impressed. You also have skills as a Bradford wife." The man said.

Elizabeth was still attacking him when the man caught the whip with his other hand. He pulled the whip with great force.

Elizabeth was caught of guard. She was plunging right into the man. The man was preparing to punch her. All that Elizabeth can do was to cross her arms as defense and braced her self for the impact.

The man then punched Elizabeth. She flew away and hit her back on a tree. She fell on the ground and coughed up blood.

"If you want this little lady back then come and get her at the mansion." The man said and disappeared into the shadows.

Jack ran towards her mother. "Mother are you alright?"

"I'm fine." Elizabeth answered. "Jack run away from here. I'll go get your sister."

"No, mother. I'm going with you." Jack said.

"NO!" Elizabeth shouted at her son. Jack was visibly startled. "I'm sorry Jack. You must run as far away from here as you can. After I get your sister we'll follow."

"But..." Jack said.

"No buts." Elizabeth cut thru Jacks words. "Don't worry. We will be right behind you. Now GO!"

Jack can feel his tears starting to build in his eyes. He listened to his mother and ran.

"I love you my son." Elizabeth whispered to herself. She then grabbed her whip from the ground and stood up. She walked back towards the mansion.

Jack was running alone in the forest. He was panting hard and out of breath. After a while he stopped in exhaustion.

He was standing all alone in the middle of the forest, crying.

"Where is mother?" He thought. "Where are they?"

Standing there all alone he knew. He knew that his family are all dead. His father, his mother, his little sister.

"Who are you kidding Jack?" He told himself. "You're alone now. All alone."

Then he laughed. He laughed like a mad fool.

That was when he thought he wants to go back. Go back to the mansion to see them one last time.

He ran back. Ran as hard as he can back to his home.

Jack reached the front door entrance. He opened the big double doors nade of wood.

'Creak' the door creaked slowly.

Silently Jack entered the foyer. The lights were off and it was dark inside. It was quiet, like the place was abandoned for many years.

'Ding dong ding dong' the big clock struck twelve midnight. Jack almost jumped out of fright from the sound.

The rain had stopped outside. The clouds are starting to clear and the full moon is now coming out.

The light from the full moon is starting to shine from outside. Slowly it starts to illuminate the entrance and then the foyer.

At the center Jack saw the dead bodies of his mother and father swimming in their own blood.

"Ahhhhhhhh.....!" Jack screamed at the top of his lungs. "Father! Mother!"

The lights inside turned on. The man in black was sitting at the center of the grand staircase. He was holding Elaine.

"Took you so long little boy." The man said with a smirk. "I'm afraid your parents wasn't able to wait for your return to bad."

The man jumped from the top of the staircase to the ground.

"Big brother, big brother!" Elaine was crying. "Father and mother..." She was now tied and hanging in the center of the staircase.

"Elaine!" Jack shouted. "Bastard! Let go of my sister!"

"Oww you want me to let go of your sister." The man said jokingly. "Then let me see you make me. Hahahaha!" He laughed menacingly.

Rage filled every inch of Jack's body. Then he saw his father's sword just beside his body. It was a broad gold sword with intricate markings and carvings at the center. It's hilt was designed with gems.

Jack rushed towards the sword and grabbed it. He held the handle and lifted it. It was heavy for his little hands. He used all his might to lift it. Slowly he was able to lift the heavy sword and point it towards the man.

"Ohh. Looks like you can wield the sword. That's good to know." The man smirked. "Well what are you waiting for. Come at me."

"Ahhhh..." Jack rushed towards the man with the sword. He aimed for the man.
