Have you ever heard of creatures that bump in the night? Do you believe in those creatures such as werewolves and vampires? Well they are all true.

Jack came from a family of hunters. Hunters are the people that hunt those creatures that fill your nightmares. One night when he was 10 years old, someone knocked on their door. Someone that they never imagined will visit them, a progenitor vampire. An original vampire known as one of the most ancient and most powerful of all vampires known.

That night Jack’s whole family was massacred by this vampire and he was the only one left alive.

“I like your eyes.” The original vampire said. “I will spare your life tonight so be grateful. And also I will give you a gift.” The vampire’s eyes was glowing red. He gives the child a sinister grin, showing his fangs. Blood was trickling from his lips.

“You’ll regret not killing me tonight. I will hunt you down, even if it’s the last thing I’ll do.” The 10 year old Jack said while lying on the ground all beaten up and is swimming on the pool of blood of his family.

“Then I’ll wait for you little boy.” The vampire said with anticipation.

Blood Debt

1 year has passed and now Jack is 16 years old. He has been diligently training hard under Rose's tutelage.


Since his training started, he hasn't been into fights at school. Jack always comes straight home after school. He makes sure to eat something before going home because he will start training the minute he reaches the house. This has been his daily routine for the past year. 


Rose was a strict trainer. But Jack won't have it any other way. He knows that he will be much more stronger because of this.


Jack's training has been broad. Rose has trained him first at close quarter combat (CQC) which is beneficial in tight spaces. She has also thought him a number of martial arts such as aikido, karate, and muay thai. As of now he was learning taekwondo.


For weapons he has started training with his twin pistols Lilith and Discord. He was now accustomed to the weight of this two guns thanks to Rose's strength training every morning. He has also learned to wield melee weapons such as knifes and swords.


It was a weekend and Rose and Jack were in the training grounds an hour after breakfast.


"Let's get you to learn how to wield an assault rifle." Rose said. She then brought out an assault rifle.


"This is an AK-12. It can house 5.45 x 39 mm cartridge. It has a cycle rate of fire of 700 round per minute." Rose explained while demonstrating the rifle to Jack. "This is handy with large group of enemies. Of course for us hunters we use the special type of bullets that are produced within the association. Here." Rose passed the rifle to Jack.


Jack catches it and started to disassemble and reassemble it within just a few minutes.


"You did your homework. I'm impressed." Rose smiled.


Jack felt proud with Rose's compliment. It's hard to impress Rose in training and he is still lacking. But hearing Rose's praises once in a while gives him the push he needs to work even harder.


Jack points the rifle on his dummy targets a few meters away and started to fire.


The sound was loud but he has gotten used to the sound of his twin guns by now.


After hitting some of the targets Rose's phone rang. She gestured Jack to stop firing for a while so he followed.


"Hello, director?" Rose answered her phone.


"Yes director. Yes. I will start preparing after your call. Huh? Cloud? Yes, I am confident with his abilities so far. Yes. Are you sure? Okay. Will call you later." Rose said on the phone and ended the call.


"Pack up your things. You'll be going with me." Rose said walking towards the house.


"Where are we going?" Jack asked following Rose.


"To Greece. We have a mission there." Rose said.


"I'm going with you on a mission?" Jack asked. He was rather excited. "Yes." He said silently making a hand pump gesture.


Rose smiled. "You are my apprentice right. And I am confident with your abilities after your one year training. But remember to always follow my orders." Rose twirled to look at Jack. He suddenly stopped walking and he was now facing Rose. "Do you understand?"


"Oh and now you are officially starting missions you'll have to get acquainted with your second name. Cloud." Rose said and turned around to resume walking.
