A young man, on the brink of total despair, accidentally kills himself and finds himself in an alternate world- a fantasy one, at that- after meeting a mysterious 'god'. This young man arouses in his fantasy world with the power of immortality- true, godly immortality, and a goal: to possess a kingdom.
Before long, however, treachery and deceit overwhelm him and leave him for dead. Forsaken by the world, he must attempt to not just survive, but thrive in this foreign new terrain.
Daily lesson in Latin! "Astrum" is a poetic term that can mean "star", "heaven", "glory", "constellation", or "immortality"; all of which pertain to the story one way or another. "Irae" (in this context) is the genitive singular form of "ira", which means "ire", "anger", or "wrath". The genitive form means that, in English, "of" would be added in front of the noun. So, "ira" (wrath), pertaining to "astrum"(star/immortal/heavens) is translated as "The Star of Wrath", "The Immortal of Wrath", or "The Heavens of Wrath". As for which pertains to the story best, I'll leave that up to you to decide.

Unique, entertaining, and fun read. Does get a bit intense at points. In fact one scene of so intense remindes of me that in1998, The Undertaker threw Mankind off Hell In A Cell, and plummeted 16 ft through an announcer's table
Well, things need to start off strong. 5 stars isn't out of the question, no? Firstly, welcome to my first novel. I hope you're prepared for something a bit... different. My main disclaimer is that the protagonist is an unreliable narrator; don't forget that. He is not omniscient and, with few exceptions, everything is seen and told through his lenses. A lot of what anyone is thinking is extremely subjective, so your thoughts on a character may be extremely different than someone else's. With that, thanks for reading.
This is definitely something I can get into. It has something to it that I can't quite explain, but it's ever present in every single chapter. I'm looking forward to the development of magic, the character, and his interactions in the world!
5 stars purely for the Latin lesson thats awesome to have in the synopsis and from what i've seen quite unique as well 140140140140140140140140104140104104104
The novel has a very good protagonist. Not only does the protagonist feel very "human" and easy to relate to unlike in other novels of similar genre but is also a smart individual that does things in a meticulous fashion. The plot of the novel from what i have read so far is not easily predictable and has depth to it. Overall, this story is a great read and everyone should try it out for themselves. I look forward how this story plays out in the future. Good job kami!
I don't know know what to write I haven't even started reading yet but I'll give you 5 stars for the synopsis 140 characters 140 characters 140 characters 140 characters
everything about this story seems pretty solid. keep up the good work man! I enjoyed the opening very much. it was very hooking and and entertaining read so far
great novel you can see the author is really thinking about how to make the world and characters as intresting as possible. the author is growing more and more into the writing which causes the writing to grow better and better with every single chapter love the way you write and hope to see a lot more of this novel ^.^
Well, what else do you need for a plot? A developing mc. A developing storyline. Chaotic plotters and puppeteers screwing up ****. Kingdom? And war. Don't forget them. They are important. Female lead? No idea till now As the author of bestseller "History of Earth", kami is bound to rock your imagination 😍😍😍
Decided to go in blind. Got confused by titles but they seemed familiar so read introduction and got educated. Latin is so fun. Thank you Kami. When in doubt nothing beat trees!
The story is messy, like it was made by an elementary student for an english assignment. The plot is incoherent, one chapter everyone is playing nice, next MC becomes a psychopath. There is no transition period, like in Re:Zero or Grimgar of Fantasy and Ash. You dont feel anything for the MC, its like watching someone go on a rampage on a GTA game. Its two steps forward, one step back, then another step back, then you break an ankle and then decided to just **** it. The MC is bad, not moral bad, just bad character, his background is a social loser, zero ambition, depressed, with an illogical sense of entitlement. Theres nothing likable about him, 20 chapters in and he's still the same loser. 2000 years in and he's still the same loser. Just kill him already and show us about the others that built countries. Author should check out "The world online" its a kingdom building novel, which i thought this was, judging from the first few chapters. Author should decide on a speech pattern and tone. A noble shoud speak like a noble, a peasant like a peasant. Characters are bouncing back and forth from archaic to modern colloquial english. If your envisioning a world ala-Lord of the Rings, they should talk like characters from LotR. This is the first time I notice this. I read quite a few japanese and chinese isekai novels, but yours is the first with a prevalent anachronism when it comes to dialogue. So far, this novel is about a whiny millenial throwing tantrums in another world.
It’s really good, I like it. Sometimes MC does stuff that is odd, or could be done better, but also he is a person with problems (like he can’t die) so yea
Lookie that... I just found another meaning for my three lettered named 'IRA'... good work by the wayyyyyy!!!! I'm curious on how this'll turn out to be... 😊😊
You,good sir, have my attention now. This is one of the most unique stories I have read till date. I hope you keep up the good work! (........................................................)
pretty good. The MC is insane (which is always a plus on my book) the writing is good and the idea is intriguing I think it would be interesting if he was like a mysterious wandering badass with an oversized cloak who takes others under his wings and trains them like a master of sorts, or he could be an absolute insane person like deadpool who would just rush into danger eitherway it's pretty goood.
